I am almost 2 years out  and have been the same weight for about 6 months.  I know I don't exercise as much as I should.  I had my surgery Oct 30, 2006 and I have lost a total of 237 lbs.  I started out at 427 and now I weigh 190.  How do I jump start my system or has my pouch stretched?   Should I be still drinking the protein drinks?

Linda first off congrats on the weight you have lost 237 pounds wow. that is amazing.
from all i can find out from all the doctors and all No your pouch does not stretch out , it may be a slight bit larger now than at first due to muscles stretching some ....
try doing the 5 day pouch test to get yourself back on the straight and narrow.....go to www.5daypouchtest.com and follow the rules for it. will help you get rid of all the carb eating.
I am over 2 years out and i still cant eat much food so i do use my protein shakes daily,,,i at least get two in because i have a hard time of getting all my calories in that you need in a days time to lose weight.. are you getting in at least 90 grams of protein a day in the food you eat?
less than 60 grams of carbs and at least 1000 calories? also water are you getting over 60 oz of water in a day....plus try walking daily for 30 minutes.  see if all of that will help you.
