WHATS HAPPENING FOR TUESDAY
Peggy;
I think if someone with a cane had lapped me Saturday I would had quit right there and then
I know my DIL would have she kept asking how much further. LOL Let me know when you have time to get together, I am open most days. Morning is best for me. Oh, thanks for the compliment on the family. I am very proud of them. They are great kids.

Wow, what a day! I had to be at one of my jobs at 6am worked 4.5 hrs. went home changed let the dogs out and off to my other job. Well I had an inservice to go to at the school I have to do 20 hrs of continuing education. It's been a long day and I'm tired!
I just got back from the YMCA. I haven't been in a while just been exercising at home but wanted to get in the habit of going again and I'm glad I did. This trainer showed me some machines to help (hopefully?) with my tummy, and love handles. I have a lot of excessive skin don't know if it will help that much or not guess it can't hurt to try. I was sure feeling those tummy muscles working bet I will be paying for that tomorrow!
I think I have been eating to many carbs again got to stop that....bad, bad, bad...... I'm also not drinking enough water got to stop doing that too....bad, bad, bad.....I get on the scale and the numbers haven't changed in 2 days which isn't normal for me so I have to change what I'm doing and start doing what I'm supposed to be doing. It's so easy to get laxed on the good habits and revert back to the old habits. I know that is something I will struggle with probably for the rest of my life?
Well, I hope everyone is having a wonderful day since this is the last day of Sept. man can't believe Oct. is already here. I just wish winter would pass us by I hate winter!

Hello Everyone,
I'm still feeling under the weather but I think it's getting better. I think I've drank 3 gallons of chicken broth in the last week. Thanks for that recpie Deb!!! I need to make more though cause it's all gone now. My hubby got sent out on a water job tonight which is awesome for us because that means a couple more months of work for him. It gets so slow in the winter so I'm very happy about this job. We have 800 dollars left to pay on the truck so this really helps out. Although when I took it to get inspected to get the license they said it needs new ball joints all the way around upper and lower--about 800 to fix it. Yeah THANKS!!! So I called my brother and he said he can do it for about 180 or so. Of course he's just charging for the parts not labor. It's so nice to have a mechanic in the family. BUT he lives in IL about an hour outside of St Louis so I'll have to go up there to get it fixed in a couple weeks. Also it keeps cutting out---like the gas line is clogged or something---when we fill it this weekend I'm going to put in that gas treatment stuff and see if that does the trick. It only does it after it's down to about 1/4 of a tank or less. I need to ask my brother about it.
***Jan***Sorry to hear about the car troubles---I know the frustration. Grrrrrrr.
***Sugar***Glad you're back from your trip. I'm really super glad you all had such a wonderful time. I remember when I was younger and all the kids would talk about the trips with the whole family grandparents and all and I would so wish my family would do that but they never did. I know your grandchildren will really appreciate these times as the years pass.
***Barbara S***You are such an inspiration girl!! That 5k sounds awesome. What a wonderful accomplishment!!! CONGRATS!!!
***Shelia***I'm sorry you're under the weather I hope you feel better soon.
***Lou***Soon honey you won't have those thoughts about what if I could do it without surgery---soon the thoughts will be wow look at all these things I can do now that I couldn't before and how much have I lost so far and what size am I in now? The what ifs will be there but it's so worth it--once you're on the other side of surgery you'll be thinking man I'm so glad I did this. Best of everything honey!!!
***Bev***WOW I bet that was really nice to get to see your sister---I don't know what I'd do without mine sometimes--shes my best friend. Glad you got to see your sis.
***Cor***Hang in there honey, all this struggle and hassel is worth it in the end. I know it's frustrating but I'd do it all again if I had to. It's so worth it. Keep keeping on girl!!!
***Deb***OMG noodles---they are the devil to me. I dump them every time I try to eat them. Why do I even try? Have you looked into those V8 soups? They look good on tv. Food is so strange after surgery. Sometimes you can eat something and the next time it just doesn't work. ALl I can say is keep trying. Eventually you'll find something.
***Janet***I really hope things start to look up for you honey you've been through sooo much. You mentioned something about needing to email me--my email is [email protected] You are such a blessing to so many thank you for your kind words.
***Angy***Glad you're feeling better--things can only get better now honey!!!
***SHerr***I really don't think you should wait so long to see about helping that pain. You might be able to do something to help it from getting worse if you wait. Grrrrr truck repairs---uggghhh they such!!!
***Renee***Keep up that walking girl it so helps!!! Not too much longer!!!
***Peggy***It's funny how we thought we had such food issues before surgery. Isn't it? LOL We really didnt know food issues until after surgery. Food seriously is the enemy for me!!!
***SHannon***The pics are awesome!!! Glad you're out and about!!!
***Bec***Glad egg day was a good one for ya. The rumbling and noises are crazy--I'm 8 months out and STILL have them. 30lbs Holy Crap woman!!! Congrats girly!!! It's sooooo awesome to not have to take diabetic meds isn't it? Congrats I know that feels wonderful!!!
***Deb C***THank so much for coming to the support group I had such a good time with you---see you soon!!!
Still working out the kinks for secret pal---not sure how I'm going to get a pal if I do the picking---and got to get that elf site things going so we can all post on it and find out what everyone likes and dislikes. WOrking on it tomorrow and will have the link posted so we can all fill out the questions.

Thanks Everyone! I love being a Grandma/Grammy to the 3 of them. Just wish I lived closer to all of them!!!
Got released from physical therapy yesterday as he thinks I have gone as far as I can with my resolving peroneal nerve paralysis. I still have weakness in my right foot and don't have much feeling in either foot but I can move them and they don't just flop like they did last February. Ben thinks I have improved so much just to prove everyone wrong - he may be right!
Got the go ahead to return to work next Monday! Am still a little sore and my lower gut is a little quesy(sp). Took a pain pill last night and it really helped.
Am now able to drive - Whoo Hooo!!!
Take care!
