REGULAR BOX For fourteen years, Angel Food has provided balanced nutrition and variety through its regular box, with enough food to feed a family of four for a week.	SENIOR BOX Ten perfectly seasoned, nutritionally balanced, fully-cooked meals -- just heat and serve. Each meal has been developed with dietary needs of senior citizens in mind, and contains 3 oz. of protein, a starch & two vegetables or fruit.

A local church has this program and I tried it once, but wasn't happy with it at all.  They subbed an On-Cor frozen dinner for lasagna.  I would have to be starving to eat On-Cor dinners.  The so-called ribs were so fatty they went in the trash.  Not fit to eat.  The frozen veggies were definitely bottom of the line.  I used the remainder of the bag for a cold pack.  

It's a good deal if the food is edible but I never tried it again.

 

Yeah I've heard that some things aren't very good---but my hubby will pretty much eat anything so I think I'm covered.  If I don't like something I can always give it away to someone. 

We have tried their foods as well and never went back.  The price is very good.  Whatever co. that packs their meet puts meat tenderizer in the steaks and even the t-bones taste like dog food and are so nasty we threw them out and went for pizza that night.  The chicken, pork chops, and chicken tenders were all good though.  There is another program called Colorado Share that does the same but I have yet to try them.
