From the Minks in Mexico!!!
I pray everyone is doing well.
We are doing great.
We have been here in the hotel 2 nights now,
and Dennis is doing well.
The doctor has come to see him here each morning,
he is Dr. Joya´s assist. Physician.
Boy is he ever handsome!!!!!
I took a picture of him with Dennis, will try to get it loaded on the computer when we get home.
Dennis had a drain and they pulled it Tuesday before we left for the hotel. He also has 2 to 3 stitches on his 5 punture holes. We will take those out after we get home, is to be 10 days after surgery. I will call Tina for that since she is a nurse!
Dennis has not had to much pain the pain medicine they gave him when he was released from the hospital, I
don´t have a clue as to what it is.
The drain site is still draining a little but they asked me if I knew how to do a butterfly stitch and I do so that is what I do with that, and the holes that have stitches we put a bandaid on when he is up and around.
Jan the first time posted was using the computer in the lobby of this hotel.
Then the times following that was at the hospital. They a room with 2 computers in it for families to use. And now I am using the one in the hotel lobby again.
We will be leaving for Houston Saturday at noon.
We are both so ready to go home. Everything someone does something for you down here they expect a tip.
We have only a certain amount we brought with us and we are cutting it close!
We did walk to Walmart and back yesterday!!
About 3 to 31/2 blocks round trip.
Dennis done real good. But man was it hot.
Tonight we are going to a new shopping mall the doctor told us about but we are going to wait till about 5:00pm
Well I got to go someone else wants to use the computer.

YEA, YEA, YEA!!! I am so glad to hear Dennis is doing well. Walking that far already, I am impressed!!!! Have a safe flight home and you will both be in my heart and prayers.

Dear Brenda & Dennis,
I am so thankful that everything is going well. It sounds like Dennis is recovering nicely and that he will be good as new (better even) real soon!
I will continue to pray for a speedy recovery and also for travelers mercy.....Cant wait until the Minks are back on U.S. soil and recovering comfortably at home!!! Its good to see your smiling faces!! All my love and prayers-Janet
