WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY
Hi, Jan & MO Peeps!
It's been a pretty busy day here. I did my daily assignment for my Bible Study. We meet tomorrow night and then again next week and that will be the end of our 11 week study. I will be glad when it's done, however, I will miss it. We usually meet on Tuesdays, however, today is the start of Jake's 8th grade football season. So for this week and next we will meet on Wednesday.
I actually made a batch of protein balls today. I have such a hard time stirring the natural peanut butter than I resorted to using my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I used the dough hook. I should have been using it a long time ago! It makes it so much easier! I'm going to take a few to Bec tomorrow. I know she's been wanting to try them, however, she didn't want to make a whole batch because they would go bad before she could eat them after her surgery. I'm looking forward to spending the day with her tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers, that they will only have to poke her ONCE for the blood draw. Have no idea what we'll get ourselves into tomorrow but I know we'll have a good time!
Then I made dinner for tonight. Have it in the oven. Will keep it on warm that way it will be ready when we get home from the football game. His game is tonight at 5pm and it's here at home. That is a blessing. I'm really not looking forward to driving all over the place to all his games...but I will...Lord willing!
The truck's engine light came on last week. I had OnStar run a diagnostic test on it. There were 3 codes that came back and they all have to do with various emission sensors. We're suppose to take it into our mechanic Thursday morning, however, David is going to go up to O'Riley's tonight and see if he can't do it himself. I know it would safe us a lot of money.
Well, I'd better go get ready for the football game. Going to wear my new Chico's red leather jacket I bought off Ebay. It still has the tags on it. It retailed for $258 and I got it for $67 (that includes the shipping!). I just couldn't pass up such a great day! It's funny because I showed Luke the jacket and the tag on it. He just smiled at me and said "Mom, I know you didn't spend $258 on that jacket!" LOL! Guess he knows his Mama pretty well!

Good Evening....
Just have minute wanted to say I had safe travels today.... thank you to everyone that was praying for me......
Got home and gave my puddle jumper a good cleaning so will be ready for tomorrows trip.... will be leaving a 5:30 a.m.....
Will be back late in the evening tomorrow .... I do not have any appts. on Thursday I miss stated that yesterday ...... when I get back tomorrow night I will be done till the day of surgery Lord willing!
Please keep me in your prayers tomorrow... I seem to get so sleepy driving lately.... I will drink caffeine if I have to but have been off it for months and don't want to mess that up now....
Blessings to all and will tell of all my adventures when I post on Thursday.... love to all!

Good Evening Everyone,
I hope everyone had a great day, and enjoyed this great weather. It was so nice out. I love when I can turn the ac off and open the window's.
Tiff is doing much better with her new pain med's. I'm so glad we found something that didn't mess her up so bad. We go back to the doc Thursday to see how it's healing, and find out when she can go back to school.
I got a wonderful surprise today. Janet is coming back over Thursday. WOOOOHOOOOO!! I don't know what I did to deserve more time with her, but I sure am thankful. I'm also suppose to call insurance back that day to see about my approval, so everyone keep their finger's crossed.
Jan Chris is just crazy over Tiff and trust me she is just as bad over him. They really do make a cute couple.
They had Tiff on lortab. She said the pizza box was talking to her and that those toy's my little pony's was in a circle dancing around. LOL So we stopped those in a hurry. She is now on Tylenol 3 and doing much better.
Jeanie Thank you so much for standing up with me on them answering post. These ladies take the time and care enough about us to answer our post. To be honest I'd be lost without them. Thanks for helping me tell them.
Janet Girl think how I felt knowing it was there, I just knew it was going to come through the ceiling one night and get in bed with me. I'm just glad it's out of here now. You should have seen Tiff open the door and scream trying not to jump on her foot, it's funny now. LOL I know black snakes are only after mice and stuff and that they wont hurt you.........but that's so not the point. I believe the only good snake is a dead snake or behind a glass so they can't get me.
hehehehe I can see her asking me to feed her to, and then me falling in the floor laughing right next to her. LOL
My bobsie twin. Lmao!! Your way to cute. So far it's not that bad, unless that's the reason your coming over Thursday and then OMG how will I ever make it without him, I'm so lost, I don't know what I'm going to do, I can't stop crying, You do realize I have alot more. LOL No really it's not to bad so far, but ask me that next week I'm sure it will be different. His daughter is coming over Saturday night so she will be here for the bbq.
I can't wait to see you Thursday, I hope you don't mind the doc appointment's.

LOL yeah they say Black snakes wont hurt you but they sure would make me hurt myself haha YUCK i wouldve just died right there, I can barely say or type the word snake without feeling queezy. Hubby thinks Im funny but saw him jump last summer when he found a copper head in our yard, im just glad I didnt see it, it wouldve bit me just to make me stop sceaming LOL

Girl don't even get me started. LOL We went camping a few months ago and decided to go night fishing, well stupid me started setting thing's up by the lake in the dar****pt hearing a nose but didn't think much about it until I set down in my chair, I turned the flashlight on just in time to see the tail go behind the tree. I was screaming snake snake jumping around like a crazy woman, so Tiff's boyfriend and another guy there fishing came over and killed it. It was a copperhead. Growing up everyone said copperheads were poisonous, but now they are saying they wont kill you, but will make you sick. I don't care I'm not testing this out.

Girls I want you to know something!!! Black snakes are poisinous but they can too hurt you! Ask my hubby who was showing off a big one he caught in the pole barn one day and it turned around a bit him about 6 times before he finally got it off of him! And YES it was his own silly fault for handling the crazy thing...but they do and can bite! So I figure it like this, If I see a snake, kill it first and then look to see what kind it is! YUCK! I hate them too! LOL!

My DH's niece was biten by a copperhead a few summers ago, poor girl! They had just returned from vaction and she was getting out of the car when it hit her twice, her dad killed it and took it with em to the hospital. We were all shocked when they didnt give her a thing just said go home keep your leg up and dont freak when the skin turns black and DIES!!! It did look AWFUL but just when we thought for sure she was gonna rot away it got better, needless to say I did NOT visit them for a long while hehe!!!
I am with you guys snake equals yell for the hubby and make it DEAD I dont care what kind it is. My ex hubby always talked about good and bad snakes he liked em I always kinda fugured they were kindred spirits haha!!!
