Cheekbones.....
I actually have them. The scale was down 2 lbs. this morning. I'm so much more energetic. Yesterday I wore a top I won on eBay a few years ago and didn't fit until now. It shows a little more of me than I like so I shortened the long sleeves to 3/4 length and used the cut off portion to make a dickie for the V neckline.
Friday I tried a small portion of a Chinese dish and no problems. It included chicken and rice. First time for rice and it was sooo good. Yesterday I had the same portion and it all came up. I'm done trying to eat chicken. I read where someone was 18 months out before she could eat chicken. She suggested using thighs because they are more moist but I can't stand the dark meat of chicken or turkey.

Jo,
I have a stepson who would not even taste chicken thighs and one day when I'd made them in the crockpot he was over and said he was hungry and his dad (who wouldn't touch them) said there's some chicken in the refrigerator. He dug it out, nuked it and said, "That's the best chicken I ever ate". SOOOOO - you might want to try this recipe. It's really complicated so good luck!!!
Put boneless, skinless thighs in crock pot. Cover with Pace's Picante sauce (has to be Pace's). Cook forever.
That's it. Eat it rolled in a low carb tortilla. You'll never know unless you try. I tried it with breasts and it was like eating styrofoam.
Hugs,
Lana

Lana ~ I may have to try the thighs. DH loves the legs and thighs and I prefer the white meat chicken. I can eat a leg but the thigh has always really turned me off.
I've made the Crock Pot dish with boneless chicken breasts and really liked it pre-op. I just bought a package of breasts Saturday.

Wasn't this the best decision of your life! Even though I had so many complications, I would do it all over again!
I was looking in my jewlery box and found 10 rings (class ring included!!!) that now fit again! Some of the rings I don't remember getting! I kept running out of my room to DH and saying, "Look here is another one!" His smile kept getting bigger with each ring!
I LOVE MY RNY AND DR. PRICE!!!!!!!!

I wondered if you were glad you had the surgery after all the problems you had. Yes, I'm so glad I had it. My DH is so supportive and complimentary. He told me yesterday he is so proud of me. I'm always trying on something and showing him. Last night I tried on coats. I got a denim jacket from eBay probably 4 years ago and it didn't fit. It buttons now. My winter coat is swimming on me. I'm hoping to use the denim jacket and another coat (was too small) that has a liner for the winter. Don't want to buy a winter coat when I should be much smaller next winter.
Jewelry I've not worn in years now fits. My wedding rings are really lose. I will need them resized.
Cassie, I'm so glad you are doing well.
