Lemon in your water

I haven't posted in a really long time.  So Hello everyone.  Recently I had a lovely 4 day stay in St Lukes Hospital because of Kidney failure due to a stone blocking my uriter.  Something so small should not hurt so much and cause that much damage.  I had 4 stones 4.5mm 5mm and then 2 little ones.

The surgeon who also suffers from Kidney stones told me to put real lemon in my water cuase it makes calcuim soapy and it will slide through the kidney rather then get stuck in there. 

So please use lemon in your water, because we take high doses of calcium.

BTW incase you are wondering, the stones aren't because I had RNY I had them before the surgery.  I just make more of them now cause of the calcium.

I don't like lemon in water but what about lemon in my tea?  Same effects?

Very cool hehe, I started drinking lemon in my water years ago for a diet and LOVED it, cant stand sweet lemonaid now even hehe. I rarely drink anything but this now maybe juice, good to know it is good for ya as well as GOOD hehe!! Hubby has always thought me mad and NEVER steals a sip of my drink after he tasted it when I first started haha. Of course I do use a LOT in mine I love that tart taste!!

You say real lemon?  Can you use the lemon juice from a bottle or do you have to have the lemon itself?
