I'm right there with ya. I use to have the house set at 70 and would break a sweat walking up the stairs or running after the kids. Now it's set on 73 and I bump it up according to how cold I feel, LOL!

I never would have imagined feeling this way but I love it!

Well before surgery I had some sort of hormone inbalance so I would have hot sweats to where I was always burning up, sweating, but my skin felt like a dead person's skin.
Before surgery my thermostat was at 70.  It now is either off and windows open or set at 75.

I wish they would tell people before wls that they freeze after the surgery...  I used to hate sweaters but now have a nice collection - LOL!  Also sweatshirts and several things to cover my shoulders and arms.  It's amazing the changes we go thru.  We have 2 a/c's in the house and have only used them about 3 times this summer as the ceiling fans and the other fans keep the house cool and comfy.  With the temps dropping I actually had to close the kitchen window last evening and throw a blanket on my bed.

I also have a nice collection of sleeveless t's that go under my tops for some extra warmth.  I hit the re-sale shops for them & sweaters and hoodies.  I have went from a 5X to a Large.

I also invested in a memory foam mattress topper for my bed and that really helps as I was having all kinds of aches & pains from my bed.  It made such a differance since we don't have that extra padding!  I got my 1st one at wally world for about $49 and it was worth every cent.  I want to get an electric blanket for this winter also.

Take care & stay warm!

yep Deb and it never gets anybetter i dont think, Yesterday i was running around everywhere with a little light weight jacket on. the weight of a long sleeve t shirt over my other shirt.
and when i would go into buildings i would get cold.
so you will just have to learn to take a sweater or jacket with you , like those little ole ladies that get cold in resturants.

My DH is hot natured so it's 1,000 times worse.  So I layer, layer and layer some more.  And my nightly ritual is to run a hot bath and soak for about 15 minutes before bed or I may as well forget about getting any sleep because I will just lay there and shiver for hours. lol.
