I am Here

I have been having dsl and phone problems and havent been able to get on here. I am still very nauseated and I did call Dr. H's office and margie ordered some reglin? (sp?) but I was calling and checkin on it at the wrong pharmacy.. So, I will go get the stuff today. I am miserable still... She said if the med doesnt work, then I might have to have a gull bladder work up... I really am not wanting it out this soon! I just had my gastric bypass 3 weeks ago. Also, I was hoping maybe someone in Joplin or Springfield could do it because the trip home from Sedelia is a miserable one... too many curvey roads. I am okay  but as soon as I got the DSL up and working I wanted to touch base and let everyone know I am okay.

Hope the Reglan takes care of the nausea.  I had severe nausea in the hospital and it is awful.  You've really had a bad time with it.  The gallbladder surgery can be done laproscopically and will probably make you feel much better.  I had mine out in 1982, before laproscopic surgery was the way to go. 

I'm sure you are familiar with all the routes from Joplin to Sedalia, but couldn't you take 65 from Springfield to Sedalia.  We used to go to Branson a lot and we took that route rather than 13.  Of course, 13 has the cheese shop......yum.

Lori, I'm glad you got some meds ordered, I was getting worried that we hadn't heard from you. How do you go to Sedalia? If you take 71 to Nevada and then 54 to 13, did you go through to Warsaw or go on to Clinton and take 52. There is only about 6 miles difference going from warsaw and going from Clinton and 52 is much straighter and actually faster in my opinion. I bet you went from Osceola across 82 to 83 to 65 and that road is MISERABLE!!!!  I don't know if we could do our visits at the same day, but if you could get to Eldorado Springs, then I could drive from here on. That won't help you with your gallbladder  problems. liz
