I'm Home!!!

I just got home about an hour ago.  They did the scope yesterday morning & found an ulcer on my staple line & a stricture.  I also had a urinary tract infection & was dehydrated.  They said that the stricture is probably what is causing me to not be able to get all my fluids in & if I keep having trouble with that, then they will go in & stretch it out.  They said that will probably have to be stretched several times to get it where it needs to be.

I got home & weighed & I gained 8 lbs in the hospital!!!  I know its all fluid, but geesh!!!   I am feeling a little better, just really tierd.

Jen, sorry I didn't call, I just really didn't feel like talking.  My throat was sore from the scope & was really nauseous from all the meds they kept giving me.

Thanks to everyone for all your thaughts & prayers.  It really made me feel great knowing that so many people care about me.

Love ya all!!!!!

Angy

Ang!!!!!!!!!!!!  Damn don't do that to us anymore!  I seriously was thinking bad things or shall I say worse things were going on since nobody had heard anything.  I have a feeling you will be feeling better with the ulcer being found and treated.  Also I have read up on these strictures.  I would have demanded they stretch it before releasing me home.  Those are bad news stuff.  it is okay about not calling.  My dad was term ill for many years and before he passed he had to have those scopes monthly and they took a toll on him.  i remember having to drive him, he was weak and very sore throat afterwards.  Some bloody spewtum afterwards too.
