WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

Nothing much exciting went on here today. Andy and I took our walk early this morning . weather was so much better than it has been. Nice and brisk …

 

So where is Hurricane Gus at now? Is suppose to be close to land fall isnt he?

   I have a friend that lives in New Orleans and they evacuated today because of it. Before they left they moved everything up to the second floor. The last one they only go****er up on their porch and just a little in their house so maybe they will be so lucky this time too.

 

Didn’t do a lot today , Granddaughter and her husband and the two babies came down and we had hamburgers  for lunch. I fixed mine up with all the fixins and ate 2 bites lol. I couldn’t eat any more. I knew I couldn’t when I fixed it especially but it looked so very good.

 

I tell you what that baby girl of theirs is such a cutie….talks up a storm. I think she knows how cute she is too. I told her how pretty she looked in her little dress and she just batted her eyes and smiled at me so big. I said do you know how pretty you are and she nodded so I guess that settles that .

 

Everyone we need to keep Angy in prayer till we hear some good news about what is going on with her. I don’t under stand them not scoping her to find out what it is that is causing the bleeding.

 

 

LORI::::: the first thing Tuesday morning I hope you will call Dr. H. and see what they can do for you about all of this nausea…that isnt right that you should suddenly start being sick like that. You were doing so well at first and just all of a sudden start being sick. So please call them and see what they suggest you do.

I hope you are feeling better today but if not you need to call and see about what is going on ok? By now you should be up and running about fairly well.

 

 

SUGAR::::::Im sure glad that you and Chloe had fun at WhiteWater. So she isnt as brave as some of the others huh? Of course they are boys too.

 

I don’t think I will do the class today or rather tonight either. Just have too many things going on right now. We need to go by the pipe for the field lines for the rental house , we decided to put all new in since it seems to need it and probably has so many roots in it.

Yes when you do Bob Ross you do a complete painting each time you paint.

 

Parasailing ?????? and you think im living dangerously by riding a trike??? That sounds a lot more dangerous to me. And something I wont do. Don’t want any part of it.

That’s like Bungee jumping or jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Not for me.

 

So you got the firepit completely done? I am getting ready to build us one I think….probably in the area beside the carport where it is nice and flat. Would like to put down a good layer of gravel and then build on that.

 

 

DEB::::::: I bet your daughter loved the hot air balloons …I would love to ride in one of them. I bet it is so pretty up there.

 

You should be able to find any kind of bulb soon at like Lowes or home Depot ….If I were going to order them from a seed catalog. I would use Parks. That is where I order my stuff all the time and always get good plants and things.

 

I will be glad to send you flower seeds , just email me your address and I will send you some when I get them all picked , dried and cleaned some.  Ok?

What would you like or just a variety of all of them  ?

I finally found out what my illness is called : OPC  Obsessive Plant Collector. Lol

I think that pretty much says it all. and I want one of each one in all 6 colors. Lol

 

 

ANDY::::: hope you and Susan had a good day at Church.

 

I think we are going to have to get us some rain ponchos or something to be able to walk most of this week. Joe and Terry were suppose to start on the field lines Tuesday but if it starts raining it wouldn’t do much good to dig a ditch if it just filled up with water. Lol

 

You bet we will remember Susan in our prayers all this week so that she can get on Medicaide then she could get this surgery but it would have to be from the group in Columbia…but if that is the one I guess it will have to be.

 

 

JANET:::::: well Joe would love those drag races . We use to go a lot but I like the dirt track better than just drag races. I hope you all had a great time and enjoyed yourselves.

 

Well good grief sweetie you sure know how to hurt yourself now don’t you? Bless your heart that is so sad. When do you go and get the operations started ? I know the first ones wont help your knees and back but at least maybe ease some of your pain.

 

I am so glad that Stephs boyfriend it seems is trying to make an effort to get to know you all.

I hope all of that turns out well soon.

And I can see why Steph would want her own bathroom if she moved in with her Dad. Good grief I would want my own house lol .

No I am no where near being in the normal BMI range. I need to lose about 25 more pounds to be down there. Just cause im short don’t mean im tiny. Lol im just short.

Don’t bet on the size 8 if you keep losing and then have the tummy tuck you may very well. Look a size 12 are loose on you so that isnt much of a stretch to think that.

 

 

 

NUTTI::::::glad you are enjoying that pool this summer. It is really good exercise , I have let the whole summer go by this year and still didn’t get a good above the ground one put in. wonder if there is still time to enjoy it is we got one put in? you think?

I still have trouble with some fish. I can eat tuna, and I can eat fish that is fried but to bake it  it takes a lot for me to get it down. and then it doesn’t want to stay there.

Glad that your son got the kids. You might not have gotten to see  them much if it had went the other way

BRENDA MINKS:::::: I guess you are busy getting things ready to go to Mexico. Hey if you are afraid to fly or anything I will go in your place. I can sit out on the beach all the time and get a good tan….hope you all have your passports now and everything is a go.

How is Dennis doing? Is he excited about doing this? I cant wait for him to be in good health.

Hey guys, seemed this fit under this heading since it kind of involved the Circle of Friends. I had my first WOW moment today. I went through the clothing that I had gotten the other night and decided to try on a pair of the size 22 capris that I had picked up. I was thinking that it would be good to see how tight they were and how far I had to get them fastened.. . And they FIT!!! I had been wearing 26's when I started my preop diet. I quickly tried on the other pair, and I could get them fastened, they were a tad bit tight, but wearable for sure.

Needless, to say, I hit my closet. I figured I had better start sorting clothes or I was going to miss wearing some. How often do you have the clothing exchange? Also, does anybody know a consignment shop in Bolivar or Springfield? I had forgotten I had so many skirts and dresses from the past that I had hung onto. I have quite a few size 22 things to get into, but nothing in sizes below that, so I am soon going to have to start hitting the thrift shops. (I can't wait).

I did not have any problems at all sorting through most of the 26 stuff and getting rid of it, but everyonce in awhile would have a little twinge and thought (Need to keep this, might need it again) But I just kept pitching stuff in the rubbermaid tote because I knew this time I wouldn't ever be that size again. What a hoot!!!!!

I had been on a plateau and my sister kept telling me, "you're losing inches, just hang in there" . Guess I had better start listening to her!!!

Anyway, thanks for the clothes!! There's a cute little pair of blue flowered short overalls in a 20 that I am aiming for next!

I had trouble getting this posted so had to delete it fini**** and now am trying again..... maybe I will be successful this time!

Sure not much to report today... spent the day yesterday finishing up Crystal's room, the living room, den and a good part to the dining room... had to stop and take a break every once in a while as my back just won't stand up to  a whole lot...

Paul is off today so probably won't get as much done... he distracts me ~ha

My dear  hen..... your granddaughter is so cute... I seen her pic on your profile.... she would hard to deny!  Are you going for a cruise today on the new toy?

Andrew~ thank you for the words of encouragement on the c~pap... my air hose comes over the top of my head.... and I have both the air pillows and the small "just over the" nose mask and both do the same things when on my side.... I keep waking up because I can feel the leak..... I have tightened the head gear too I guess I will try again..... if mine gets to tight it just slips off the tip of my head.... Jan sent me a web site that makes pillows specifically for c~paps but it is for hoses that come from the side....drats!  I will continue to dance with it and pray that I get better at it!!!  Thanks for telling me all your experiences it sure has helped.  And know that I am praying for the situation with your feet, and also that the Lord's very perfect will will be accomplished concerning your wife's health.  He is a great big God and able to meet every need we have even before we know we have them! 

I am so very very sorry for all those that are having troubles, am so concerned for Angy, Kris, and others that need a special touch from the Lord!

Janet ~ dear  lady I'm sorry you hurt yourself again, and hope you were still able too and had a wonderful time with your family yesterday!  I wanted to go ahead and come too! ~ha and I'm not at all interested in the races...you just made it sound so fun!  Am so glad you were able to spend some time with Steph on Saturday too... I know you miss her.  Lady bug your needs are many and I pray each day that the Lord would meet each one, from Mikes up coming surgery on Friday, to poor poor Megans difficult pregnancy, to your many many health issues and all the other issues I have not mentioned too.... I tell my youngest daughter when she is going thru difficulties..."that this is her time to shine".... on the surface that might make a person irritated, but when you think of it in the spiritual realm it makes good sense.... it is an opportunity to let the Lord shine thru you and help others to know that He is a capable God that can meet all your needs and theirs too!  She used that back on me the other day and got great satisfaction out of it!!! ~ha  the stinker!

Sheila ~ it was good to see you post and hope you are feeling better each day... it would be real cute to see you right next to Joe and Jan on your scooter!

Sugar ~ boy oh boy parasailing!!! too cool!  I had to laugh when Mimi said she couldn't see jumping out of a "perfectly good airplane" too funny!  That would be fun to see... I hope you have a simply wonderful time on that vacation!!! I know you will and enjoy being with your family that's the best part! 

Nutti ~ it was good to see you post... glad you are enjoying your pool, my sis has one and she said they just did not get to use theirs as much this summer as it was cold so much of the time...  they have already closed it for the year.... she has three young ones and even they could not take the cool water..... I personally like cool water but then I have 150 lbs of extra insulation packed on...~ha

Vesta ~ sure hope you are feeling better and glad to hear things worked out for your son and his children as well as they did.  Blessing to you dear lady and I hope you are feeling better! 

Debbie D. ~ Hope you are feeling better too each day.... are you about done now with the antibiotics?  Thinking of you and praying the very best for you in the health decisions you have to make.... I know the Lord will lead and guide you.

I will be excited to hear how Dennis has done with his surgery ... I am truly happy it has worked out for him to get the surgery and I know he is happy too!  Am praying all goes well and his diabetes will be resolved so very soon!

Renee' where are you dear lady?  I hope and pray all is well...

Good morning all!

Now sis! Parasailing is like being flown at the end of a kite string behind a boat...they reel you out and let you hover for awhile and then reel you back in. You said you would go up in a hot air balloon which is a ball filled with gas, not tethered to anything and you wouldnt go parasailing???? Are you crazy? LOL!!!

I need to call that Helen lady and tell her Im not coming today because she wanted to know whether to hold a spot open for me. Maybe I will go paint with you next week if you go.

2 weeks and 3 days from today and I will be on my way south to the beach. YEAH! My oldest gd Ember is here to help me sort thru pictures and such to get organized on scrapbook stuff. I have tried to give each kid a job this summer to help them earn some money for Florida.  She spent the night last night and she was excited to get to sleep in my new bed, lol! She is quite the decorating diva. We are going to design a board for her area at school today too. They each make up their own poster board (tri-fold) and decorate it however they want. That gives them some privacy at thier area at the tables. It is really a good idea and you can see some of thier creativity in it. Her's is going to have buttons all over it. Her grumps has called her "Button" since she was born, because she was and is as 'cute as'....

All of our precious people out there that are not well, please leave it all at the MASTER's feet and He will handle it.....we are all praying for each of you.

Well, I guess I will get off of here and go start a bd cake for my hubby...he is 56 today! He sure likes my good ole choc. cake with fudge icing so I guess I will make him one...Im sure it isnt good for his cholesterol levels but it will be okay just this once! lol!

Good Morning All,

   Here is a little update.... I am nauseated ONCE again... I went to the Dr. yesterday when I took Jazi and she has a bad sprain would of been better had it broke the Dr. said. So, he put her into a brace so that if she falls or runs into something it doesnt break. She was in alot of pain yesterday when he was examining her,but she seems okay this am. It seems to bother her more at night. Then he looked at me and ordered labs. My potassium was a little low, but not enough to make me weak. He gave me a script for liquid potassium and phenergan (sp?) for the nausea... But that one comes in a pill so I thought I better ask Margie about it first. I cant afford to go to Sedelia every month. I dont know what I am going to do? I rescheduled my appt for sept to Oct because I just dont have the finds this month. I am hoping maybe they will send a script, fax it or something... I am going to call 1st thing in the morning. I had some crystal lite again this morning and got nauseated ALL over again!! Ugh, I just want to get over this... Any suggestions.

I am home now - had a fun filled weekend with the grandkids.

Got my new dentures in Kansas City friday and I am going to have to go back for some re-adjustments.  I am resisting the temptation of putting my old ones back in to at least eat my meals but its rough!

Hit a few garage sales around Springfield Saturday then got a few things at the Goodwill store.  Took the kids swimming and then to mickeyd's for dinner then we went back home and tried to get into the house with the garage door opener son had given me but he forgot and locked the door to the kitchen.  I had to call them and lucky their dinner was over and they had not went to the comedy club yet so they ran the house key back to me.  I kept the kids busy with their bikes and riding toys etc... in the driveway.  Both told me I was the bestes babysitter ever!

Went to church Sunday with the family at Walnut Lawn Church and it was great.  I am so glad that my son has found a church home.

Went bowling with them then just sat up visiting. 

Left Springfield at 5:30 this morning and came home up 65 and stopped to visit with a friend in Marshall for about an hour.  Lisa works in the surgery center next door to Dr. H's office in Sedalia.  Really enjoyed my visit with her.

Had a lot of posts to catch up on - you all take care!
