When you guy's say "shakes" you surely don't mean that literally do you, I mean the thought of the slim fast well   too too rich after surgery. I have been using the syntrax protein nectar, and that is very light, no carbs or sugar, much easier to digest than the "shakes". also the gnc has a "pure max. protein" in chocolate that tasted exactly like a yoohoo, mixed with water, it was really really good, but expensive, but for those of you that are really struggling newly out to get in your protein, it can be a lifesaver, your taste buds, tummy will most likely change and you will be able to tolerate differen't kinds of protein drinks a little furthur out, but I still can't finish a whole slimfast with out feeling sick. Hang in there peeps. it get's easier. promise!!

NO! we arent talking about slim fast for sure...isnt it loaded with sugar???? They are speaking of protien powder like ON brand or whatever that has lots of protien and you mix it with soy milk or crystal lite or whatever...Then I drink the Isopure clear ready to drink bottles of protien. They are 40 grams of p per bottle (20oz) in all kinds of flavors and are really good. Sort of taste like watered down orange soda or grape soda ...then lots of other flavors.

Did your Dr say for you to drink slim fast? NOW??? That is really strange. I thought those things were loaded with sugar. I really never understood them telling anyone to drink them ever because of the sugar content. Maybe they make one that isnt and I just dont know about it??? Could be, there's lots of stuff I dont know. LOL!

Sugar, where do you get the isopure? I keep hearing about it but haven't seen it anywhere, I don't like to order online (maxed credit card) is there a store? thanks, susan. ps no, my dr. dosen't recommend slimfast, it's just i've got like 4 cases of it left plus 20 bottles of ensure, I occasionally sip on one for a "meal" if i'm out and about, but can't finish one for long long time.

The isopure can be bought in several different stores I believe. I did buy mine this last time on line but from GNC. Akins also carries it I think. It sounds expensive but really it isnt any more than what you buy to mix with the protien powders to make them drinkable. Where are you? Are you close to a GNC?

I live right down the street from a GNC but they told me each bottle is 4.50!!! I just mix walmart brand of crystal lite and water. I dont know what I am going to do about my protein? I am a little low on my potassium and he gave me some in a liquid form ( the Dr. I saw today)

Slimfast has 2 flavors that are sugar free.  Vanilla and chocolate.  I LOVE the chocolate one.  It is so creamy!
