sweetie a bleeding ulcer if that is what it is , isnt anything to fool around with. if you see any more blood get yourself to Columbia to the ER there how far are you away from there?
Im not comfortable with you bleeding like that. it could be an ulcer , it could be the pouch had a scab come off. i did that one time but it was only one time and i didnt have blood in my stool. when i saw the blood i threw up i called Dr. H right away and he called in a prescription to my pharmacy to take for one month. and with orders to come up there to see him as quickly as possible if i did it any more.
doesnt seem like the (fellow) is very concerned ....I AM !!!!!! keep us posted please. are you nauseated?

Hi Jan, Thanks for your concern.  Yeah, the Dr. last night said it could be different things, but probably an ulcer.  He said if I threw up again, got light headed, feverish had pains to get to the ER ASAP.  He said that I would probably be admitted & started on ulcer meds & hopefully get an endoscope done if he could get a doc in to do it.  He wasn't real concerned because my Hemoglobin & Hematocrit were ok, but said that could change quickly if I threw up anymore.  I haven't thrown up anymore, but definitly don't feel good.  When I get up & move around I get a little woosy & weak.  I actually woke up not feeling too bad, but as soon as I started drinking water, I started feeling bad & a little nauseated.   I have already had 2 BM's this morning, the first one was just a little, but still bloody, the 2nd was VERY loose (like a cow pie) lol & very dark & bright red mixed.  I'm going to go ahead & get a bag packed & get things in order here at home then have my dad take me on up to Columbia.  I don't want to go, I hate the drive & then to have to wait in the ER, UUUGGG!, but I know that's what I need to do.  I won't be taking my computer, but can get on the internet on my phone & will post when I know something.

if this is a bleeding ulcer it can change in a heartbeat. I think you are wise to go ahead and go.
the getting nauseated after drinking water indicates there is blood in the tummy or intestines. there isnt any sense in letting it get so bad that they have to start pumping blood into you or winding up in surgery. love you and please let us know we will be praying. .....
