Yay for willpower!
My middle daughter's 4th birthday party is tomorrow so today I've been baking cake and frosting them. Now, granted the cake is allergy free (my oldest is allergic to just about everything) but still loaded with sugar and fat. It smelled so good! Before surgery I was a carb and sugar addict. I could have polished off the entire cake in a day.
It was so hard not to pick a piece off the cake and have a bite. It was even harder not to lick my fingers when I accidentally got frosting on them. BUT I DIDN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I stayed strong! I am soooooooo proud of me. This was probably the most challenging thing I've faced since surgery as far as temptation/head hunger.
Just a small victory, but I wanted to share with my friends!

Pat yourself on the back! You did better than I did tonight. I went to our high school football game and my daughter and her FCCLA class made cupcakes and cookies. I had 2 bites of a cupcake. I then handed it over to my son to finish as I knew 2 was 2 too many lol. Didn't make me sick but still. But up until that I didn't want anything to do with sweets.
