Whats up with everything tasteing so yucky? Will food ever taste like it should again? This really bites,I was so looking forward to scrambled eggs.Nothing sounds good,I'm not really hungry.Just trying to eat because i should. But if foods gonna taste like this i don't care if i ever eat again.

Been there, done that.  I'm 7 weeks out and the first few weeks I considered eating such a nuisance.  Nothing tasted good.  Foods I really like before tasted strange to me, but DH said they were fine.  I still don't care for eggs but I was never a big egg eater before.

I'm just now starting to eat more variety.  This morning I had toast with PB.  Tried bread a couple times before and it came right back up.  Lunch today was a salad, about 1/3 cup of salad greens and protein.  I ate most of it and it tasted good.

Hey Deb!  About the eggs.  Make some chicken broth or boulon on the stovetop and while it is boiling ad 2 beaten eggs.  If you like the eggs more like egg drop soup then str slowly and remove from the burner after about 30 sec at the most.  If you want them more scrambled then boil em a little longer.  I like it both ways but the best one I had was when I cooked em too long and it was like real wet scrambled eggs in the brith and I loved em!

Hey Deb, Food doesn't taste different to me, but I feel so terrible after eating, I just don't want to eat at all.  I had a egg w/milk & cheese  scrambled up this morning, ate about 1/2 of it.  I've had a little refried beans w/cheese but everything makes me feel like poo.

I talked to Natalie yesterday, she wants me to have my gallbladder out in a month.  I told her about all the nausea I am having & she said that it was normal with gastric bypass & for me to take my phenergan (sp?), but it makes me really tierd.   UGGG!

Y'all might try taking a  B-1 vitamin with Thiamin (sp) I take Super B Complex.  Dr Hornbostel has his patients take that and it really helps with the nausea, I noticed a difference when I started taking it.

Ok trying the egg again. This time i added more cheese and some daisy light  sour cream. And it is actually tastey. I had some cream of wheat last night it wasn't bad. Can only eat a few bites at a time, but am thankful i can at least do that.
        HAVE A GREAT DAY!
