WHATS HAPPENING FOR THURSDAY
I just wanted to thank everyone for their congratulations and well wishes about the bike…so amazing to me that people are actually happy for you on here when you do something or get something , no backbiting and bitterness. I just love all of you to death.
Thanks again. I know to some people the trike would seem like a waste of money but it isnt to us. We have been wanting one for 8 years now….would have really like to have had just a regular Honda goldwing but im afraid that Joe couldn’t handle it on a long trip , if his hip or shoulder got to hurting him.
Anyway we love it .
I will be in town more on Monday nights , there are some Bob Ross painting classes that are free and I may be coming to some of them. Not every Monday for sure but maybe once a month. At least I will see if it is worth driving all the way to
Can you believe we didn’t even uncover the trike today? Wow weird huh?
I spent the day gathering seeds for people and cutting back some of the flowers so they will have another shot at being pretty before frost.
Can you believe I am talking about frost already? Wont be long you know.
We have to go get the lic on the trike either tomorrow or Friday. And im getting the stuff to make some of the sugar free pecan pies that sugar made. Also some of the peanut butter cup shake.
Trying to decide what I want to take to the reunion for the pot luck on Saturday. Could make a pot of ham and beans but is that too plain?
I love them a lot and we eat a lot of them ….what is some of you others bringing????
Remember it doesn’t all have to be weight loss friendly because there will be others there that haven’t had surgery.
I sure hope there are more that are coming than just the ones I know of. If so we are going to be sort of lonely lol
I have heard from a lot of people that they will be there for Saturday only and that is great . Several of the newbies on the board too. At least I hope they will be.

BEC:::::: I use to ride on the back of a gold wing bike when I was large. So of course you could too.
Maybe you and Paul will get one too and we can ride together. And do you know that they have intercoms in the helmets to where you can talk to each other? And there are cbs on the bikes so we could talk back and forth to each other going down the road lol
Oh the poor little orchid , so sorry , go ahead and dig up the bulb and store it somewhere. I just clean them up some and lay them in a bucket of some kind so they stay dry. …next year plant it in the ground. I never water mine unless it hasn’t rained in about 2 or 3 weeks. …they are just now blooming . I will take a picture tomorrow and show you , they are really delicate looking and smell so good. . lol yeah the castor beans are usually at least 6 ft tall. , none of mine are as tall as they normally are here tho this year. I think they got too much rain on them. They like it hot and dry.
Last year when I had the luffas when I went to pull all the vines down I found bunches of the gourds I thought I only had about 3 or 4 but wound up with something like 30 something. Lol
Sure looks like you should be getting use to the machine by now but I never have had one blowing air into me so I don’t know how it feels.

Yeah Andys ankle was hurting so badly this morning that we couldn’t walk as much as we should have , I told him he needed to go back and see Dr. Bridges . the doctor is going to run some test and see what it is when he goes back so don’t see why he cant go earilier if he can get in.
Im going to get the stuff to make one of the peanut butter cup shakes for a change of pace now and then. Will help my calorie intake too.
Boy you are going to have all these little things down pat by the time you have surgery and just whiz right on thru.
By the time you are 2 months out you will have lost so much weight you will be looking for clothes to wear from all of us.

JANET:::: we will be sure to keep all the kids in our prayers. And of course all of our peeps that are needing prayer.
Hopefully the kids will be getting better soon. I know how it takes it out of you when they aren’t doing as they are suppose to.
We are also keeping you and Mike in our prayers to be able to deal with all of it and also to get both of your health problems fixed. I have known you for 2 years and you have been taking care of everyone else instead of Janet. So get her fixed up so she can come out and play again and feel better. Ok?
Will be praying for your nephew too. That is a shame and hard to understand when kids get sick like that isnt it?

Where we are is 30 minutes to anything at all. is 26 miles from Forsyth , which we all know isnt known for much shopping. Lol
Groceries stores and dollar stores and drug stores, now if you cant find it in any of those you have to drive another 20 mins to the new Wal Mart over on Bee Creek road.
Winters don’t bother us , usually we aren’t home much in the winter. But when we are here we just make sure that we have everything we need before it gets bad and we just stay in when it is bad.

LOL you and Sugar both saying the other is thinner than the other. To me I cant tell a nickels worth of difference, don’t care what the weights are.8 or 9 pounds don’t mean a thing to the eye. And when you get a tummy tuck you will be even littler.
But still cant figure out why you two are only small pounds away from normal bmi and I am 22 pounds away and everyone says I don’t need to lose any more. That isnt fair.

Okay sissy, I get the dig about not congratulating you on the trike! LOL! I am happy for you that it makes you happy but I am your sister and I still worry about your safety more than I am happy, does that make sense? I know you all will have a blast on it. It certainly has never been my idea of a good time but it could if you could find me a road with no other traffic on it. I just dont trust the other drivers. I too am glad you went with a trike tho, since they are bigger and easier to see coming down the road.
Where is there a Bob Ross class being taught on Monday nights? I kinda would like to try that too except for the expense of the paints and stuff...lol! I always think, there is something else I should be spending that $ on.
If you want, I can keep an eye out for some treats for the little gift bags you are making up. What all have you been putting in there? You know me, Im always on the prowl for cutsie ideas and little trinkets.
Yes I am excited about Jane doing the talk next month too. Hopefully we will be back from our trip by then. We should make it home on the 28th I think.
Janet, we go to Destin and so far I think they just got rain, not anything else. It is about 50 miles east of Pennsicola. There is another storm brewing right now and I think it is headed to the other side of the gulf. Please everyone pray for it to be great weather and no storms while we are there. I so want my grandkids to have a great warm time on the beach. I told all of them to be praying about it and Ember the oldest grand daughter said, Oh I have! And beleive me, if she says she has, we are covered with prayer! But it wont hurt to get some more prayers lifted to HIM!
So Bec, I want to know the process to get started to find out how to get Rick in for a sleep study and see about getting him on a c-pap. I want to see if his snoring would stop. Bless his heart, I dont know how he sleeps at all the way he sounds at night.
Well, I guess I will close and get started with my day. I have my JOY (chinese) luncheon today...and I am going to try to look sort of Chinese, so I need to go do my eye makeup (experiment) to get the look. lol! Although I dont know how to make my blonde hair look Chinese. lol! The Sr.'s love it when I get into character for these things.

.... they would look at "us" on that trike and say oh la la biker babe #1(that's you) and then there's "bootie biker babe" #2! (that's me)..... I'm sure we would be quite the site!!! But oh how fun!!!! I use to ride my brother~in~ laws Kawasaki 750 ... that was about all the bike I could hold up by myself... but oh boy was it fun to ride that thaaang down the highway with the wind blowing in my face....loved it! Don't look for us to get one any time soon, but it sure would be fun wouldn't it?

I will be waiting to see the pic of the orchid..... I was sure disappointed it died... I only watered it about once a week when it did not rain... but I guess it was too much huh? My luffa vines are thin enough since I just had 5 seeds and the arbor is so big I can see it all pretty good... maybe the other three luffas will make before frost? And I will have more seed... I am hoping to get enough to send you some back and I know Vesta wants some too.
I am going to make Sugar's Pecan Pie too! It sounds wonderful! I hope you like the shake... I forgot to put that I added a couple packets of Splenda so you might or might not want to do that... depends on how much of a sweet tooth you have? This cream cheese fudge gal had to have the splenda! ~ha
I do hope I make it at least a bit easier on myself by doing all these little things ... it sure is a good size commitment I undertook but I am doing them each day..... I'm here to tell you when you are "starving" ... that little spoon can be real maddening!!! I was so hungry last night I wanted to throw the thing across the room!!!! ~tee hee..... I had worked all day and I didn' t have milk to mix with my shakes so I mixed one with caffeine free coffee in the morning and yogurt in the afternoon and by night time I was "raving" ....
About Crystal.... she is going to school in Texas this year but Paul's mom is going down there to visit her daughter in Ft. Worth in a couple of weeks and is going to stop by and see Crystal on her way back in Wichita Falls... and bring back a van load of Crystal's things and I will need a place to put it all ...that will be right after my surgery... so I am cleaning out my crafts, and "stuff" from her closet so I will have a place to put all her items and it is ALOT!!! ...
She does not know where she will get her doctorate yet..... if she does not get some type of "offer".... she will most likely come back home and get her doctorate at possibly UMKC or Columbia.... she will only have to drive once or twice a week to attend any classes... at the doctorate level it is mostly research and writing not class time.... we are praying now as to what she will do?
It's great about you taking the painting class! You will enjoy. I have put most of my projects up for now....will get them back out when I start to feeling better after surgery.
I sure hope two months out I will have lost a lot of weight!!! It's so exciting just thinking about it... I want to "feel" better so bad! I am right now re~losing weight AGAIN!!! this is the pits! I will be thankful for any clothes I can get I'm sure! Crystal is sending me some 20's.... I have a very few 18's and nothing under that except my "incentive outfit".... plenty of 24's.....but know I should be out of those real soon I hope!
I got quite a bit done yesterday... the last of my laundry, I will be ready to wash curtains now..... I mopped the kitchen floor and laundry room floor, cleaned off my desk, put all the laundry away, cleaned my bathroom, and such.... today I hope to clean out Crystal's closet, and give her room a very good cleaning and if I have any energy left I will tackle the guest bathroom... it is not hard since there is hardly much use to it unless someone comes to visit.... "if" I get both of those done I will be happy... then tomorrow I hope to get the living room and dining room.... I'm going to rearrange the furniture in there as I clean.... then next week I hope to get the office and den on Monday... then the bad comes.... the kitchen and my bedroom and bath....those are the most used rooms in the house and the most work.... I just have to do something with my closet.... going to re~arrange my clothes so I can get better use out of them.... that closet gets so messy so fast! DANG! I'm already tired just thinking about all this!!! It sure was nice when the girls were here and we could wipe it out in a couple of days!
Andy ~ I hope you can get an appointment and see what the problem with your feet is... I sure do feel for you and
you can get relief just real soon .... it has been so nice to have the swelling out of my feet for the past two days! You will be glad you did if you are able to get in sooner and they can fix what ever is wrong. Also ing for your wife.... I don't know anything about her but know from reading here that she does have needs, I will be praying God's very perfect will for you both!Janet my lovely

Yesterday was a bad day. I've been on these heavy duty antibiotics (for a severe sinus infection) for 6 days now. My whole body has been throbbing. I wake up with a headache that seems to nag me all day. I slept for about 3 hours yesterday morning and I hardly ever do that anymore.
As I told Bec last week, my latest Lyme test came back positive. The specialist in KC wants me to go back on a combination of antibiotics. I had a bulls-eye rash back in 1987. Of course back then they had no idea what it was. I was officially diag. with chronic Lyme disease in 1995. I have taken YEARS of antibiotics via weekly injections and oral antibiotics. I even had a PIC line for almost 4 months. Was suppose to have it 6 months but my body simply couldn't take it. I have also been on years worth of transfer factors as well as tried colloidal silver.
My doctor took that same test 2 years ago and it came back negative. He thinks the Lyme disease comes and goes. That's it's still the old infection but it lies dormant at times.
Well, I am asking the Lord to guide me in my decision. Honestly, when I'm on antibiotics I can barely get of out bed and function like a "normal" human being. I really don't want to put my body thru that again and to put my family through it. I feel that if all those YEARS of various types of treatments including antibiotics didn't kill it completely then it will never be gone completely.
Please, please, if you see a bulls eye rash go to your doctor immediately. The bulls eye rash is enough for a Lyme diag. The you need to be on 30 days of antibiotics. Not the normal two weeks they tell you. My oldest son, had a bulls eye rash on his leg after he returned from his Grandpa's house in MO. I took pics and immediately went to our pediatrician. I had to INSIST he be given a month's supply worth of antibiotics. Finally the doctor gave in. Praise the Lord Luke is okay. Jake is doing well too. Someday when I have more energy I will share with you how the Lord took care of Jake when I honestly thought he had abandoned us. To make a long story short, Jake was given 7 days of iv antibiotics and antivirals when he was 2 weeks old. It wasn't until he was around 3 months old that I found out I had Lyme disease. I've had both my boys tested and they are negative. I am eternally thankful for my Heavenly Father and his goodness.
Well, on to the mundane stuff of live. I'm going try to and get some laundry done this morning. Still need to clean my kitchen. Just normal stuff. Will probably lay back down for a couple hours. I'll be glad when this 10 days of antibiotics are done.
Mama Jan - guess I need to call you Hot Rod Mama now! Congrats on your new Gold Wing Trike! I'm going to show David your pictures tonight. We've been talking about getting one here in a few years. There's a Honda gold wing trike for sale down the street, however, it's not as big and comfortable as yours. I told him I wanted the big deluxe one! So what is the gas mileage on that? I really don't like motorcycles, however, those look really comfortable. Does yours have the ac and everything? I'm so glad you found what you wanted! You will have to have someone take a pic of you and Joe both on it!
Bec - I'm still here and kicking. At least this morning my body isn't throbbing. That is a very good thing! Wow, you are getting a lot done! I know your scope is next week, I will continue to pray for you. Your surgery is fast approaching! Glad both your girls and Paul will be there when you have the surgery. Can't wait to meet your whole family!
Janet - please your heart! I'm with Jan, how do you do all that you do in that horrible pain you live with? Honey, I wish I could come help you! I'm sorry to hear Megan is so sick. Now when is that precious grand daughter of yours due? You will be a great Nana!

wow hot mama nice trike, now i need to get a pic of me and my lil ole scooter on here haha i took it for a ride to town yesterday cos Dr H said i could ride it.....
every thing cleared at Dr but i did have infection in my belly button YUCK but he has me on antibiotics so that should do the trick soon...wouldnt release me to go back to work till tues and that sucks cos now it be 3 more weeks be4 i get a paycheck and its already been 2 with out...so i PRAY i have the gas money to come to reunion at least for the day if not 4 the nite...cos IF Rach is off she wants to come down too, she loves all of younes too...
Janet........you are so welcome to the clothes...some of it i never even got to wear cos i skipped the size be4 i realized it.....any one can SEE after you held Baylyn Starr that YOU will be a GREAT nana...maybe next time i will get Rach to bring Parker he is 2 but a bundle of joy...

I havent been on here much, I feel so sick! I am fighting this nausea for close to 5-6 days now. If I drink anything other then water I get very nauseated and have to sit or laydown. Although, I did go workout yesterday but it was very hard on me as my tummy is ill. I am only able to eat yogurt and cc right now. I am sick of them already, I would like a variety, but I wont pu**** Esp., if this is making me sick I sure dont want ANYTHING else!! Ugh! I wish this feeling would go away. I talked to Margie and I have to get more vitamin B in and see how that works for me. I might have to get some thiamin shots, but at this point anything to make me feel like I am not having morning sickness will work for me. Hope everyone is doing well and talk at ya later.
I give myself the B12 shots every other week. I give them in the middle upper portion of my thighs (where there is the most fat). My PCP's nurse showed me how to do it. Then the next time I gave myself the shot while she watched me. Really isn't painful and it's a lot cheaper than having the nurse give it to you.
I actually "pinch" a little bit of fat, apply rubbing alcohol and then give myself the shot. Just did it this morning.
