UPDATE: They have received the forms! (FiServe, Dr.Price)

Finally, a New word! I've been calling the insurance company every Monday for weeks now, supposedly my stuff was sent weeks ago, but there had been some changes in the office and I think my stuff was lost in the shuffle, but this past Monday, they finally said, Yes, they have it and now they must determine "Medical necessity", and that takes 20 business days from date of receival which they show as Aug 13th.  Sooooo, I don't know WHY they wouldn't approve it? 

What do they consider medically necessary?  my BMI is about 57.  I don't have any of the major comoribities, YET. 

I'm kind of nervous now.

Yay! Some good news at last! I know how frustrated you've been. I'm so glad for you. I'm not sure what they consider for medical necessity.

CONGRATS!!! I hope the ball will be rolling agin for you very soon!!! I think all insurances require different things so im not sure what yours see as medically necessity either. In any case I will pray that you breeze right thru all they do require!!!

I'm glad to see you've made at least a bit of progress..... You hang in there and keep up the efforts..... I worked nearly 2 years on getting approval... I KNOW how discouraging it can be but let me tell you ......

IT'S WORTH THE EFFORT!!! 

Don't give up, not even if your insurance deny's you (unless they have a "total exclusion" ~ those rarely get apporved)... follow there rules and do what they say and eventually you will be approved!  It may take a lot of patience but something that just has to be done.... I hope it goes so much smoother for you than it has for me but if not .... DON'T GIVE UP!
