What should I do?
OK, so I know that I need to get the gallbladder out, but should I wait until I am totally healed form my RNY or go ahead & get it over with. On one had I think wait, so I don't feel so crappy, on the other had, I think why wait to feel good just to feel crappy again. I need some guidance on what to do. HELP!! (((HUGS))) Angy
(((HUGZ))) Girl, you know you are a very dear friend to me... Definately my closest on here ... I talk to you more then I talk to anyone probably more then my own mama, LOL. How do you know it is your gall bladder? Did I miss something? I havent been around the computer much today. I have been soooo ill, but I am getting better. I want to hear what all is going on... Hit me up on yahoo later or when you are feeling up to it.

Ang had to go to the ER this morning and they told her it was her gallbladder, She has a cpl other posts about it.
Ang if it were me I would go get it done now. Might as well be in pain from both procedures at the same time. However I am not sure there is alot of pain after the gallbladder removal. And two you dont want to develope any stones and have them fall into your stomache. That is deadly.

I thought they took out your gallbladder when they did RNY if you didn't already have it taken out? Fortunately, I had mine taken out back in May, and I felt 100X better, come to find out, I had been having vague, undiagnosed abdominal pain for quite some time, that was probably my gall bladder all along.
I haven't had bypass, yet, but if they really thing it's your gall bladder, I'd say get it done now!

HUGS, poor girl, I so hate you have to deal with now so soon after RNY
If it helps gallbladder removal is lap and out patient surgey, my mom and MIL both had it done recently and were in and out in a few hours!! Both got along great!!! I am like the others I think I would almost get it over with now as it wont get better, I know my MIL put hers off as she had diverticulitis at the same time hers went out, was rough on her to wait for another attack so they could remove it. Everyone I know felt better right away after thiers was gone. I still have my GB and with my family history I have been told even before i looked into RNY it was not a question of if my GB would go out but when LOL, so im sure mine is in there just ticking away as well
I wish you all the best either way you decide and hope you will soon be feeling better!!!

Jeanine
