Margie just called, she says preop tests on Oct. 29th and 30th, then the big date on Nov. 14th!!!!!

Make some room on the bench for me!!! I know room wont be a issue however with all the pounds you guys are loosing!!!! OMG IM SOOOO HAPPY haha!!!

Jeanine, that is AWESOME!!!!!!   Congratulations!!!   When I got my date, I went through several different emotions.  Excited that I finally got my date, scared, wondering if I was making the right discision, and anxious that getting a date made it "real".  Congratulations again!!!   (((HUGS))) Angy

two days of tests? wonder what they have added now?  your the first that i have heard of that had two days of test with Dr. H. did they say what you would be doing?

I am with Dr H and I have two days of testing also.  The16th and17th of Sepyember and then surgery on the 29th!!  They do an EKG, a scope, check your lungs and I don't remember the 4th test.  I was so happy that they were able to get me in in two days.  That is a 2 hour and 40 minute drive for me.  We are going up the 15th and staying alnight for 2 days.  You didn't have all of that done?

And by the way Jeanine....CONGRATS!!!!

had only not even a half day of pre op , taking blood, chest xray, ekg, and talk to dietion and the doctor that puts you to sleep and the p.t. girl. that was about it. no scope, didnt do the pulmonary thing...yeah it is 3 to 3 1/2 hours for me but he is worth it. . and the new test he has added makes the surgery safer ...

Jan, Margie was running thru all the dates and tests so fast I jotted down all i could hehe, she told me she was sending me a offical letter with all the info soon tho so if I missed something it would be in there.
What I did write down was first day would be the scope with Doc H, then I could have lunch she said but be back to see Dr woolery, she didnt really say what he would want with me but I think he may be the NUT since the following day is the cardio and breathing tests.

I am 3 hours away from his office as well and was thrilled they were able to schedual all the tests at once like that and get em all over with!!
