Jen or Deb. I'm confused??!!??

OK, I was setting here looking at our book about nutrition.  Didn't Abby say that next week we can go to stage 4?  In the book it says that stage 3 is at 1 wk post op (today)  and lasts for 1 week, then stage 4 says it starts 3 wks post op & last for 2 wks.  So we start stage 3 today & according to the book we don't start Stg 4 until Sept 4, but I thaught she said we could start it next week, & also that we would be back in 3 wks & at that time we would go to stg 5, but its 4 wks when we go back.  So I am confused.  What she said isn't going along with the book & after the fried chicken story, I don't want to move on to stg 4 unless it's really time.  Does this make since to anyone???  I think I'll write her an email & ask her to make sure.   ~Angy

I don't know but...are you taking too many pain meds?  lol kidding hun.  I honestly don't look in my book much.  Yes she did say soft foods starting in 1 more week.  Guess I better read my book.  But yea I would email her.  I am rady for the softs.

I had Dr. De la Torre and we skipped stage 3 completely and went to stage 4. You might want to call and make sure though. I did mine at DePaul so it may be different for you. Hope that helps some.

 they said one week from 8/21 we start semi solids.next thursday the 28th.and we do that for 2 weeks. i can't wait lol
