Weight Loss Question....
Lori, I know just how you feel, the only people that have said anything at all about my weight loss is family , I have lost 70 lb.s , I know being jumbo sized (371 prior to surgery) 70 lb. doesn't seem like to much, I don't really have any friends where I live, but I do interact with some people and i'm sure the whole town (maybe 400 people) knows I had the surgery , you tell one person everyone knows!! My theory is that there are some who are jealous, and some that are worried, sounds funny but I am no longer the fattest in town lol lol , if you have friends that are larger don't be surprised and hurt if you don't get alot of wonderful feedback, I have had more comments (neg..like "i heard of so in so's cousins friends once removed, gained it all back and then some") thin people are much nicer and more thrilled for you. I also have a digital scale from weigh****chers, it is great, but make sure you leave it one place everytime you weigh or you can get differen't readings, I know mine can vary by as much as 7 lb.s depending on where it is, my floors are a little un-level. I just put it where I weigh the least
and leave it there!!(I feel justified since I weighed at dr h about 7 lb.s lighter than what it said anyway) don't worry about other people sweetie , be happy for yourself, i'm sure people HAVE noticed and some may even want to comment but don't know what to say for fear of offending...you know "how far along are you" WTF... i'm Not pregnant...akward moments lol lol. just keep posting, I am so so GRATEFUL for the friendly people i've found on here, I feel like i've made real friends for the first time since I moved here (to kansas 9 yr.s ago). here's a big compliment from me to you....YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, STRONG, AND ABOUT TO GET SKINNY!!!!
