not much too stage two...pureed food, cream soups pureed . like cream of chicken but you cannt have the chunks of chicken yet so you have to either put it in the blender for a few or strain it. you can also have baby food lol ....you can have good protein shakes make your own
Lori you are going to have to bite the bullet and buy a good protein powder. I use (ON 100% Whey Gold STandard)put that into google and will take you to several sites that have it....in Food 4 Less in Springfield they have it for 5 pounds for 39.dollars ....i know that is a lot but that will make 70 shakes.... do you have a blender???? if so put in 8 oz of milk, frozen fruit of your choice
splenda to taste and blend completly so you dont have any chunks.... then put in one scoop of protein powder and zap it just enough to blend it in ,,,it will foam if you do it too long. then put in big cup with lid and straw which will keep the air out that way....if you cant get it all down in 30 mins then put in freezer till you are ready again ....may have to zap it in the blender the next time
be sure and use frozen fruit ....that way no skin or seed in it...

This is my fav so far.  Also I bought a little blender called the magic bullet when I was making Brayden's babyfood.  I now use it for me and it is perfect.  It makes the perfect size shake.  I paid 70 bucks for it at walmart and it is worth every penny.  Anyways here is my recipe...

1pk carnation instant breakfast no sugar added (chocolate)
1/3 cup of carnation powdered milk
1 scoop of 100% whey protein, vanilla flavored
8 oz skim milk or soy
cpl ice cubes

blend up and enjoy!

Holy cowwwwwwwww!  She has some great recipes!  Thanks...now I am craving lol.  So let me get this straight...we CAN have meats as long as they are puree'd up?  I thought absolutly no red meat for 3 months.

Just be really careful to watch the sugar content in EVERYTHING!!! You never know where it will be lurking or early on you really don't know how much you can handle. I looked at baby food early on and it had alot of sugar in it so I stayed away from it but, it could have changed in the last five years. Just look at everything. Sugar will be in the most unlikely foods.

Hi Lori,

If you have a Walgreens they have the magic bullet on sale for $49.00. They make the most wonderful slushees..I take 100%  fruit juice, watered down, and make slushees..I have to have everything ice cold and found this is the best way to get my fluids in..still not getting all my fluids in but I sip sip sip and it is still not enough....

You might try egg drop soup.  It is on the approved list for 4-7 days out from my dietician.

Just make boullion like normal, but on the stove, beat up an egg and just when the boullion starts to boil, start slowly adding the egg while whisking the broth.

The broth will infuse the egg and it will be super soft.  way softer than scrambled eggs.
