confused!

I am confused and upset!  About 2 months ago I started my food journal again and uping my protein.  At the time I was between 154-157.  I weighed this morning and the scale said 162---I was upset to say the least.  Since the surgery I have not been one to worry about my weight expecially if I knew I was doing what I was suppose to do.  Today I am discouraged because I am acually writing everything down and watching my P's and Q's.  What is going on?  I thought maybe it was because the protein is building my muscle and therefore making me weigh more.  I just hate feeling this way.  Any words of encouragement would be great.  Have a great Sunday and God bless, Penni

Penni i know the discourment of which you speak and it makes you crazy doesnt it. 
Oh how much protein are you getting
how much calories.
water
EXERCISE?????
as we get futher out the Exercise part is almost the most important thing, well not really but the farther we get out we do have to exert more energy into losing weight than we did at the start
I hate even the word exercise so you have to find something that you like to do .

Keep  reminding yourself "muscle weighs more than fat" plus as a woman our weight ,due to menstrual cycles..heat... (the position of marrs in relation to earth).just about anything it seems can make us fluctuate several lb.s in a couple of day's!! no rhyme or reason to it!! check it again in a week to 10 day's...don't stress, it will probably add another pound! lol. Thanks for responding guys!  I so realize that us women flucuate alot but when I see 160 on the scale and me being 5 foot I start to panic.  I know the excersise thing is a big one and I do have to say that I lack in that area.  Its like I want to excersise but its that deciding to go and do it that holds me back.  I say everyday when I wake up---today is the day I am going to start the excersising program and everyday I don't.  Uggggggg!  I know saying it is not going to get me up and do it!  It is only 8:17 in the morning---there is certainly time to decide I WILL go and walk!  Wish me luck.  Penni

Do what Jan did, find a walking buddy....you may even have to buy a run down old house, fix it up and then rent it to someone who wanted a walking buddy too....hopefully not (lol) but find something you like to do and stick with it and you have to make you and it a priority. I have been letting my grandkids keep me from my routine and that isnt good.
