Okay, so I am leaving tomorrow around 3 for the Bothwell hotel and we will be staying over night before going for the surgery... My question is do I need to take off my nail polish off my hands and toes? Trying to cover all bases now. lol.
the short answer is yes. they use your fingers and possible toes to monitor your pulse ox durning your surgery and it could mess with the reading. hope this helps. i only know this b/c my mom is a nurse in surgery and they somtimes have to remove peoples polish b/c of this. good luck!!!!!!
