Hi all.  I am new to the board as the subject line says, and am ready for this change.  My only worries are dealing around the lifetime of having to eat this protein (blah!!) stuff and wondering about how this will effect me later in life (long term).  I have already gone to a couple of seminars and have an appointment with the doctor I have chosen (at Missouri Bariatrics Services on MU campus) on September 3rd.  Between now and then I have my psych eval on the 20th of this month and already have had my blood work done.  I have begun working out about 2 months ago.  Which is good for my mental state, but not for losing weight because I am trying to gain muscle before the surgery.  Afterwards I will deal more with adding cardio into my habit forming weight lifting regimen.  I have been reading all of the posts on this board for months now and thought I should introduce myself.  I will see u guys on the losers bench soon.  What am I in store for?  I don't know, but will be seeing shortly.

Welcome aboard...it is going to be a bumpy ride!  No! Seriously it will be..but the best thing you have ever done for yourself...If you dont like the protien powder, try Isopure. It is a ready to drink clear protien drink. It has been a life saver for me because the other stuff gags me! Hope you keep posting and stop lurking now that your out in the open with all of this...you will need the support. Good luck and God bless you!
