Getting closer....

We're getting closer to Monday! I'm really struggling with the protein shakes. I've been having to just plug my nose and drink them down. I almost puke at the end of them, but they stay down and my hunger goes away. I have some Nectar ordered but it won't be here until Tuesday. I've stocked up on sf jello, broth, and sf popsicles for Sunday and after surgery.
I was actually thinking of starting the clear liquids tomorrow since I'm so sick of the shakes. I do have Isopure and slammers for clear protein on Sunday. I'm hoping I'll still like the slammers after surgery since they're so small in volume and convenient.  However, I think if I did start the clear liquids a day early, I'd feel like I cheated. I've been so dedicated to not cheating on this diet so that I can restrict myself after surgery and be successful. I know how important protein is and I WILL get it in no matter how many times I have to plug my nose and drink it.

I really want some broth! That is so crazy! You'd think I'd be craving cake or doughnuts, or something that I used to pig out on, but I think I've broken my sugar addiction these past couple weeks.

Oh, I did get my Nectar samples today and I don't really care for any of the flavors except cookies and cream. The strawberry kiwi has an awful aftertaste and I had to force it down.  I'm thinking of getting some unflavored protein that I can mix in soups and mashed potatoes once I'm in that stage. Has anyone done this? What brand of unflavored do you recommend?
Oh, here's a funny story, my husband is already packed for Monday and I'm not. I think he's a bit excited.
Wow, this is long. I guess I just need a bit of reassurance and motivation to get through one more day of nothing but shakes and water.

keep up the good work you have started you wont be disappointed in yourself.
