Great News From The Minks Family!!!!

Hello Everyone!!
We certainly do have good news!!!
Dennis will be having RNY-WLS!!!!!
It will be done by Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!!
We are going Wednesday to apply for our passports,
neither one of us has ever traveled out of the US before.
We are going to pay extra to expedite them and hopefully
get them in 2 weeks. I called and talked to Gerald from
Dr. Joya’s office today and he is American from LA.
So no worries about language barrier.
They will book our flight and meet us at the airport.
I can stay with Dennis in the hospital, they have a recliner
and a couch in the rooms for family. He will pay $12,500.00
for the surgery his flying costs and 4 nights in the hospital
and 4 nights in a rehab hotel. I of course have to pay for my airline ticket
and food for me. We will be flying out of St. Louis with a plane switch
at DFW in Dallas/Fort Worth. Total flying time is about 3 to 4 hours.
Don’t know how long the lay over will be in Dallas yet.
So we are excited and nervous at the same time.

Hopefully we are looking at mid September to early October.
Will post more info when I get it.
Dennis says to tell you all hello, he knows Jan and Joe, Craig, Tammy
and some of you others that we met in Sedalia last year,
but he fills like he knows everyone from me talking about the Missouri
board. We covet your prayers for safe and uneventful travel and
for safe and uneventful surgery.
