    I thought the upmost of Dr d. He was very nice and knowledgable but also very all business. You will hardly see him after surgery or even the day of. He makes a brief appearance right before they put you under and then I didnt see him again. I saw his PA, Della after that. Have you met her?  Have you met Patsy up there? She is your biggest help. I am still in touch with her.
    My surgery was March 7, 07. I started at 298 and am now at 165. I want to lose the other 5 pounds but am not obsessing over it. Im 5'8" so although I dont see myself as skinny, Im very pleased with my weight and size now. Im wearing 10's and 12's... I started at 24-26.
     I want to wish you lots of luck and happiness with all you are about to go thru. Find a protien drink you like and keep at it. That is the most important thing. I try to get in 80-90 grams a day and I get half of that from my drink. I use Isopure which they will give you to try at the hospital. (Or they did at DePaul) Is that where you are going to have yours done? Ask them about it. You can start sipping that right away because it is a clear ready to drink. They even sent me home with some. My favorite flavors are Icy Orange and Grape Frost. But there are alot of flavors to choose from.
