Two steps closer!!!!
Hiya guys!!!
Sorry I havent posted been really crazy around here of late LOL!! However I have good news, since I posted I finished my psych. eval. He wrote a book on his report 6 pages, but all good and acually found me sane. I told him i wasnt sure I was happy to be found totally sane hehe he said well I never said that just sane enough for surgery so that made me feel better haha!!!
Then this past sunday ( 8/03/08) I attended Doc. Hornbostal's siminar in Sadailia!! He is even more wonderful that I read about, hubby and I both were so impressed!!!! I wanted to look for people from this board that attended that meeting afterwards and did stay for the beginning. However I had with me all the peices medicare had listed to have surgery, so went out to give those items to Mrs. H. who presented me with a HUGE book to fill out haha. While I was doing the paperwork I sent the DH to the car to get my insurance card to get copied and he discovered we had a lovely flat tire LOL. Needless to say facing a 4 hour drive home w/ a flat tire and knowing he had to be up at 5 am the next day for work we had to hurry and go after i finished all the paperwork and info hand in. We had fix a flat in the car LOL hubby is a boy scout and always prepared hehe, however we still didnt make it past Buffalo with the tire, thank God his uncle lives there and came to get us as boy scout didnt trust the tiny spare to get us all the way home LOL. So in addition to the lunch we had with his dad and step mom before the meeting (they live about a hour from sadalia) we had a nice visit with his uncle and spent the night, got the tire fixed the next morning and finally arrived home about 1pm Monday. It was an adventure for sure!!
Dispite the tire SOOOOO much more went right, God is so good!!! Now all I have to do is wait a few weeks for me appointment call!!! IM SO THRILLED the ball is finally rolling and I will soon hopefully be on the loosers bench!!!
I wanted to add the 4 ladies we saw at the beginning of the support meeting were AMAZING!!!!! I was very happy for them and pray my journey will go as well and the same for all of you both post and pre op!!!
I hope to finally get to meet some of you at a meeting in the near future and am sorry I could not this trip. (for those there you may have seen me LOL I was the chucky monkey in the light blue capri outfit with white flowers on it on the bench out front trying to get all the info worked out with Mrs. H LOL)

lol well you had quite the adventure and evey thing still being good in your mind is great. Yes Dr. Hornbostel is one of the greats in my book and Margie, his wife, is a warm caring person as he is. I hope you get your first visit with him soon. and then have surgery sooner.lol
