Joplin Area Question?

I am in a 26-28 and I have been to garage sales and thrift stores and even on craiglist and freecycle and cant seem to find any clothes in my size. I know I dont have much time left, but I am really needing some t-shirts and stuff. I was a 22/24 when I started this journey but now the pain of the tight jeans cutting into my tummy is too much!! Does anyone know where else I can go? I dont want to pay full price since I am only going to be this size a few more weeks. Or is there a clothing swap for WLS patients around? If not, maybe we should start one.... After I begin losing anyways...

just a word of caution when on this weight loss journey dont buy more than like 2 outfits at a time in a size and try your best to get them somewhere that is really cheap like yard sales or such. The reason is that you wont be in anyone size very long and it can get really expensive fast. ...you are needing a 26/28? or 22/24?  Nuttie do you have some things left over. Im sure someone has a couple of things somewhere. I gave all of my big winter clothes away before i ever had surgery lol . i was being postive wasnt i?

You were very positive. I need 4X in shirts and  26-28 in pants.

I wish I could help.....I have some tops you are most welcome to but my BFF in Florida is the same size as you and I just sent her a huge bag of clothing last month
all of the stuff I am ready to get rid of now are 24's and some 22's of which I will put your name on and you are welcome to when you are ready for them.
today I am wearing my first size 20 jeans(capris) since high school 26 yrs ago.
life is good...and listen to jan...dont buy much you are gonna be amazed at how fast you will loose inches at first.

we are having a clothing exchange at the next support meeting too. So hopefully you could come, maybe pick up some things in the next size down even by then, on the 25th  . that would be 3 weeks after your surgery and will have lost quite a bit by then.....
