I have finally felt like getting on the pc. I was reading through all of the old posts on my complications. I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate all of the prayers and all of the concern that you showed me. Thank you so much. I now know why I made it through all of that, because of your love, support and prayers! I have no idea how to thank everyone!

I due have good news now, I have lost 40 pounds since surgery. I got my drain tube out yesterday, it feels soo much better. I still have a GI tube and probably will for a while yet. I am eating solid food very slowly and I chew chew chew!

Again, thank you for all of your love, support and most of all prayers! I love you guys!!

What fantastic news Cassie!!  We were all concerned and worried about you!!  In fact, I actually read about the onset of your surgery complications on 29 Jun 08......less that 24-hrs before my Lap RNY surgery!!  Needless to say, I was also saying alot of prayers for the both of us and did shed a few tears before I went into the OR on the morning of the 30th!  I'm so thrilled that you're home, healing, and feeling much better!  Best wishes and keep us up on how you're doing okay!  ------Shelley

Hi Cassie!

I'm so happy you are feeling good enough to post!

I sure know how it is to feel humble about all the wonderful people here that wish you well no matter where you are in this incredible journey!

And so many willing to pray for your need what ever it is!

That is fab~u~la~tas~tic about the 40 lbs but I bet you feel like you "earned" every one of them! And you did!

Continuing to wish you the very very best, that you will be all healed up real soon and on your way to all the WOW's everyone is always talking about!

Blessings to you dear lady!
