Hello Missouri - Are you surprised to hear from me. I have been lurking and trying to catch up on everyone and believe me when I tell you that even if I don't write I do think of you all and remember to lift you all up to the Lord. John and I went to Kansas City the weekend of the fourth of July and then last weekend we just crashed. I have been very tired lately - think it's the heat and I am not being as good on protein and water as I know I should. I'nm vowing to all of you to get back on track with the protein shakes and water. I PROMISE YOU ALL.
Last week I had a neat thing happen. I have a very small family - only child of an only child type of thing. On my mom's side I had a cousin Betty Jo who was a couple of years older than I and who I thought was soooo cool because she could dance and she dressed way neat - to me. Anyway, after I got married and she got married and we moved away and she moved away and I lost track of her. For the last few years I've been trying to find her - tried to contact a step-cousin of hers and did some calling around but didn't have any luck. Anyway, a friend of mine in Nixa who I've known all my life emailed me last week and said he'd read the St. Joe paper online and saw where Betty Jo's mom had died and they were bringing her back to Union Star, my home town, for burial. I was so excited - I called the funeral home and left a message for her to call me and she did that afternoon. We didn't have a long time to chat but I now have her email and mailing address and phone number and I'm so very excited to reconnect after many years. And Stacy, DD, went up to the cemetary for the burial service and got to meet my cousin. So very cool.
I've gotta go - piles of work on my desk are overwhelming me. My boss will be gone the week of the 28th and of August 8th so hope I can be on here more.

OH my goodness! It is sooooooooooo good to see your smiling face on here! That is so wonderful about you finding your cousin. I hope you two get to connect and form a close friendship.
You better start taking better care of yourself and not shorting yourself on the water and protien, cause we will have to come pour those little bullets down your throat...lol!
Ive been working alot in my flower beds and all over my yard. Dear Glenna gave us so much stuff to work with and now Im going nuts trying to find where to put it all. And I didnt get nearly as much as Jan did...of course. She just can never get enough flowers I guess. I cant wait to see what her place in heaven is going to look like...hers and my moms.They I am sure will be the flower keepers of the heavenlies....
