My surgery has taken a backseat

Sorry guys,

I know that I said I would post on Friday after I got home, but the timing of my surgery seems to have been all wrong.  From the time I walked in the door on Fri., my mom's condition declines on a daily basis.  While my dh and 3 boys tried to take care of her and me, there were moments when she just couldn't stay calm unless I was right there holding her hand.  And don't even get me started on trying to do all this and it's only the 2nd week of school.  I am glad that I had the surgery for my health and I can't go and drown my sorrows in food.  I am learning all kinds of coping skills this week.  My mom is in so much pain and it's hard to see her suffer like that, but I have to keep the family together and be the responsible adult for everyone else.  So please be patience with me I will be back soon to tell all about my surgery
.
