Hey all!! Officially looking for my new spot on the "Loser's Bench"!!!!!

Hi all!!  Wanted to let you all know that I'm looking for my spot on the loser's bench with all of you post-ops!!  My surgery was on Monday, 30 Jun 08, and all went very well!  My surgeon rocks and I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have successfully made it though the surgery!!  So far I've been able to keep everything down.......slowly working on getting all of my H2O and Liquid Protein in.....but yesterday (the 4th) was able to get all my protein in!!!!  Whoo-hoo!  Still working hard on getting all the H2O in, but today's even getting better as far as amount in ounces go!  Looking forward next week to add a bit more solid type proteins, but know it will all come with time!  All of you pre-ops out there......I'm so totally here for ya if you need anything and all the post-ops.......scooch on over........I'm moving to my seat at the end of the bench!  :)  Talk to you all soon!    -----Shelley

Thanks Jan!  I'll tell ya, today is the longest I've been able to sit here at the computer, so yes, I'm having a rough time sitting still for long!  Still a bit uncomfortable but no major pain to speak of.  It's a great feeling though and I'm thrilled to be here and able to be a part of the loser's bench with you all!!  :)  ---Shelley

I just wanted to tell you that I totally agree that your surgeon rocks!! He and his PA Tim have been such a wonderful team with me too. I had LapBand last Sept. and have done very well too.

I too am hoping to have surgery with Dr. Hohen so am always interested and happy to hear such good things about him.
