UPDATE ON CASSIE L

Finally I have more news on Cassie.  She is off the vent so I talked to her by phone.  She is weak and tires easily but no more pain or vomitting.  She feels like she is really on the mend.  She starts clear liquids today.  All her vitamins are still thru IV.  She has a small infection at one of the original Laproscopic sites and is getting IV antibiotics for that.  The doc said he would release her Monday or Tuesday if all goes well.  Our girl is getting better.  Yipee! Yahoo! Yea! Applause!, More applause!  :)   Hugs and Thanks to all.  Deb

Dear Deb, THANK GOD!!!  We have been praying our hearts out for Cassie and her family. Im so thankful that she is okay and we will continue to pray for her speedy and uneventful recovery!!! Love, Janet

That is great news!   So glad to hear she is so improved she may go home next week.  I'll be going in when she's going home.  My surgery is Tuesday. Thanks so much for keeping us posted Deb.

Deb, thank you for keeping us all updated. We have all been praying our hearts out for her. I dont know her personally, but still we are like a family on here... All, going through the same things and I was worried about her like she was a long time friend. I am so thankful that she is getting better. Thanks again for keeping us all in the loop! ~lori

Thank Goodness and thanks to you for the update!  I read about Cassie right as I was getting ready to prepare for my surgery on the week-end before the 30th of June, and let me tell you, it really made me scared!  I'm so thrilled to find out that she's on the mend and so sorry that she has had to go through this!!  If you talk to her again, let her know that we're keeping her seat for her on the loser's bench when she's ready to come by for a chat!  :)  ---Shelley
