Another task checked off the list!!

Well, went to Sedalia today. Got my EGD done and my appt. with internist and echo completed. Next step will be pre-op visit on the 28th. I've got to say, I hope the surgery goes as smoothly as the EGD. They got my IV in, gave me some meds, moved me to another room, gave me some more meds told me to put something in my mouth and next thing I knew I was waking up in the recovery room. Had a gag test, had a diet pepsi, had my IV out, and was out the door and on the way to Applebees for lunch. Got there at 9:45 and was walking out at 11:30. Don't remember a thing!!!  The only bad part was the cherry stuff they sprayed twice to numb the back of my throat. YUCK!!!  Anyway, got that done and it was painless, can't get any better than that. good for you Liz isnt is amazing how we dread some things and then they turn out to be nothing? That is how i feel about my surgery and all. I was up and going and had little or no pain. Hope the same holds true for you.
