group in columbia

I'm looking for a support group near Columbia. Is one near by?  I'm moving here from Texas and lost without a group! Becky

Becky check with the hospital there in Columbia, as many surgeries that they do there should be one somewhere around , if not maybe you can start one.  Welcome to the Mo. Board. hope you will come back many many times.

I had my surgery in Columbia, MO.  Check out the university of Columbia bariatrics website.  They meet in several different locations.  Good Luck, Raynetta

Hi Becky  I am also from Columbia Mo to and i just had my surgery on june-6-2008 i know the july meetings for support group is coming up i think they have about 4 or 5 different locations i am planning on attending my 1st on this month also. I also went thru the bariatrics center to so you can check out the website for univesity of columbia bariatrics website or you could call them also.                                                        Debra
