Big wow moment

Yesterday I went to a goodwill to see if I could find me some black pants for work (required) I did find 2 pair and I found a cute pair of burgandy dress slacks but a size 18.  I thought well, I will get them and I will soon be able to get in them besides everything was a $1.10 yesterday so that was a good deal.  Well, for fun I decided to try them on when I got home knowing they wouldn't fit.  To my amazement the size 18 fit!!!  I was so surprised I haven't wore and 18 in like 20 yrs!!!  Ok grant it they were a bit thight but I could button and zip them so still need to lose a little before they look good but hey I was excited.  Before my surgery 5 months ago I was wearing a size 28 and sometimes 30 so I have come a long way in 5 months so I'm happy!!!!  Life is good....

so happy for you Bev. isnt that wonderful and it just keeps getting better and better. hang on it is all down hill from here.

Congrats, Bev!  I remember being so excited about getting into a smaller size.  As Jan said, it will get even BETTER than this!  You have just begun and yes life is good!   I love thrift stores too!  I went to one on 87th Street last Friday with my Mom.  Found a really cute summer dress from Coldwater Creek.  It's yellow with blue and white flowers on it.  Bought it for $4.00!  The best news?  It's a size SMALL!  Who would thunk it!?  lol!
