I have a surgery date.

Hello to everyone, My name is Vanessa and I have been lurking around this site and wishing for surgery  since 2002.  Well having to deal with my mother's terminal illness (long story), I finally hit "rock bottom" and decided that I want to see my future grandchildren.

This has been a very BUSY week for me.  After 4 long years, I am financing my surgery.  I went  to another seminar on Tues., had my consult with Dr. Wagner on Wed., got my psych eval. and clearance last night.  Today I go see my primary doctor for the PRE-OP tests. I start the clear liquids on 7/3.  I am so excited and anxious I know that I'm driving my DH crazy LOL.  I soooo need and ANGEL right now.  Anybody out there up for the challenge?

Hi Vanessa!  Congratulations on your surgery date.  I am pre-op so I can't be your angel, but I'm sure someone on here will take you under their wing.  I know what you mean about being anxious & driving your DH crazy.  It's all I talk about.  I'm just waiting for my fiance to tell me to shut the h*ll up already.  He has probably learned to tune my out by now. Hi It's good to know that I'm not the only "crazy" spouse on the loose.LOL  I'll keep you on my "think about" list in regards to your getting your approval and surgery date REAL soon before our DH's have us committed LOL

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, Miss Jan.  My mom is getting worse and her mom and sister have been in town.  Thank you so much for volunteering to be my angel.  I'll try not to drive you crazy.  I started my pre-op diet on 7/3 and survived yesterday, but I start school on Monday and I have a bad case of nerves.  I have been out of school for 20 years and everybody looks so young.  Well wish me luck.  Everyone continue to have a safe and great weekend.

Congrats!!! I am so happy for you! I am also pre-op so I couldnt be your angel. But, I wish u the best! You are doing tha dang thang gurl!! I am so happy for you!! I wanted to say I am so sorry to hear about your mother and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I wish you the best and before you know it you will be joining others on the losers side.
