Question about Birth Control Pills

Dear MO Board, I have a question.  My periods have really been out whack since my surgery.  Can we absorb them like normal or do we need a higher dose pill to get the full effect. Thanks, Kelly

I haven't had surgery yet, so I  don't know about the absorption of BC pills.  But have you checked on the shot?  I used to get it & loved it.  I have had cervical cancer & had a hysterectomy so I no longer need birth control, but if I had to do it again, I would definitly go with the shot again.   (((HUGS)))  Angy
