Being submitted to insurance in the morning!

I finally heard back from Sandy on email. She had been gone since Wednesday. She said she was working on my file and it should go out tomorrow morning. I am not sure if it's snail mail or fax. But I'm super excited anyway!  Bonus! I just got off the phone  with the sleep lab and they had an opening and I got to move my appointment for cpap titration up from July 14th to July 1!!!!  Things are getting closer and I'm getting more excited! I'm trying to watch my carbs and get my exercise in. I'm going to try and not drink with my meals so I'll be ready for that after surgery. I also need to get my vitamins so I'm ready with those too. Just wanted to share my news! Brandy

Congratulations Brandy!   I should be right behind you.  They tell me I will be submitted this week.  We'll see.  I think the no drinking with meals is going to be hard for me.  I guess I should try to start that now too.   Congratulations to you again!   Good Luck!   Angy

I have contacted my insurance company a few times since last week and again yesterday, and they say they still have not received my file.  It went out Tuesday, June 17th.  I haven't called insurance today.  I left her a voicemail yesterday that they were telling me they didn't have it.  Again, I failed to ask her early on whether or not it went US mail or via fax.   I hope it all goes well for you!  Donna

Regina from the bariatic center in Columbia told me that the approval forms have to be sent to insurance through the mail, they can't be faxed, took my insurance about 2 weeks to approve              Debbie
