5 day pouch test!
Dear Patty,
I have not posted in 'forever'.......but I can tell you that a friend of mine did the 5 day pouch test and it was a success! She had been worried that she no longer could lose weight......that maybe she had stretched out her stomach. Yet, when she tried the pouch test and stuck to it.......she was very pleased to see that it was successfullly 'in-tact" and working just fine for loss of weight.
All that I can say is: "Hang in there!" and keep up the good work.
Beca
P.S. I know that it's not easy.....
Patty,
I just finished the five day pouch test and I only ate what was on the list. It was great - hard but worth it to break my carb cravings and remind me of what I should be
eating. It's so easy to just nab a bite here and a bite there are begin grazing and grazing on less than good things. I realize that it is a life-long battle with weight but I sure love the help the surgery gives. I found from the test that I really am not hungry when I mindlessly eat snacks - the pouch really does still work exactly as it should. My new goal is "Mindful eating", just really thinking about the choices I make.
I hope you have a great day.
Hugs,
Lana
