I RODE A HORSE!!!
I had horses growing up and when I went to college, I didn't have time for them. Well, I have been thinking for sometime that I would like to get another one. I also decided I want to get a breed that I have wanted for many, many years. I wanted a riding draft horse. So, I talked to a lady that has two grey Percherons (a breed I have researched and really like. I even went to the head of the breed associations house to visit with with their horses.) and I went today to ride them. I was okay till it came time to get on the boy and then I got a little nervous. You have to have a step stool and after stepping up on it, I had no problems getting on the horses. We didn't ride long but it was enough for my first time in many, many years.
So, I had to share that exciting moment. I will try them out again before I make a decision. I also have a lead on another boy I want to try.

AWESOME!!! CONGRATS!! Horses are such beautiful animals!! That's one of my goals when I lose weight - ride horses and of course play on the rocks at Johnson's Shut-Ins!!!!
