Quick Post of time for my 5k

I did it. I finished my first 5k at just shy of three weeks out since surgery. My time was 1:15.08! I think its a WOW moment. Next year I am signing up for a 10k! I love it I never thought I would like to walk like this. I guess its a start. Until later Chris "I hope and pray a year from now I will be half the man I am today, living 10 times the life I am now."

Wow Chris!  You must be feeling pretty darn good.    Weren't you going round and round with insurance and surgeons? 

You are amazing!!  Finishing out a 5K event just shy of 3-weeks out is unbelievable!!  Congrats!!  This gives me some real insight on what I have to look forward to in the upcoming month or so!!!!  My surgery is scheduled with Dr. Hoehn on 30 Jun 08.......so getting very close!! Are you by chance having any problems getting your water intake in per day?  With it being as hot and humid as it is here in the Midwest my biggest fear is dehydrating!  I love water though, so hoping that it's just a case of paranoia!! Again, I'm so proud of you and your great accomplishment today!  Keep us up on how you're doing okay! ---Shelley
