Does anyone else feel this way about food?

I was just wondering if anyone else feels the same way I do about food or has felt this way?  I am 4 months out and the sight of food makes me sick.  I get somewhat hungry and know I need to eat but when I sit down in front of food it's like I can't eat it and nothing sounds good to me.  I try to eat just because I know I have to but nothing taste good or sits well with me at this time.  I don't know if I'm lacking my b-1 vitamins or what cause stuipid me left all my vitamins at my house in KC so I haven't been taking them recently I am going back to KC this evening for the weekend and will make sure I make it back home to Wichita with them this time.  I have been very dizzy and light headed especially bending over could that be lack of vitamins?  I haven't been getting in all my protein just have been really busy trying to her unpacked etc.... need to start back on a routine so that I can get what I need in.  I did find a store near me yesterday called "Affordable Supplements" they have a lot of the protein powders and they also have a power juice bar so you can get a smoothie or shake there which is nice if your out.  I found a protein bar there that was good and only 2g of sugar I think it was called "Oh yes"? It had 14g protein for the 2 waffers they were pretty good I have been having a problem finding any that I like these are light not thick and chewy like most.   Well, I weighed myself today and I'm down 108 lbs in 4 months.  On surgery day I weighed 352 and now I'm at 244 so I'm happy about that.  I have noticed that I'm finding more lose hair when I comb my hair and stuff which isn't good don't like that guess I need to also make sure I'm taking biotin and getting in enough protein which I know I'm not doing that yet.... I miss being able to eat I wish food tasted good to me maybe it will soon?  I cooked out on the grill the other day and couldn't eat it after I fixed it so that was disappointing I love to cook but why cook if I can't eat it?

Bev this is what they call the honeymoon stage cause the pouch is in control and wont let you overeat...BUT YOu have to get in your protein thru shakes, drinks or what ever means possible. The food you eat you only get half of the protein and nutrichion , anouther part of the surgery , remeember mal nutricion? If you dont get in your protein with about 4 protein drinks of some kind in a day you are going to start being really sick,,,and i mean really sick also those vits if you forget them this time you better go by some because that isnt an option either they have to be taken for the rest of your life. Dont mean to be so harsh but you are scareing me...PLEASE START DOING WHAT YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TO DO. LOVE AND HUGS.

Thanks Jan, I know what needs to be done it just doesn't seem like there is enough time in the day to get everything in but I will get my vitamins today heading to KC later and I will start taking them again and I won't forget them.  I didn't have money to go buy new ones since I have no job yet so that is why I was holding out until I could get mine.  I am going to go right now and make me a shake!

I agree with Jan.  You have to be so careful with your nutrition.  Get those protein shakes in and forget about food if you want to.  Some days I DON"T eat and that's ok because i do get in my protein and vits.  Also be sure you are getting in enough water...esp with the warmer temps creeping up on us.  Lightheadedness can be a sign of dehydration too.  Food is pretty gross to me right now too.  I have been experimenting with fruit.  I don't want to overdo the  sugars, but cold juicy fruit on a hot day sure is good.  So far watermelon and me are getting along just fine...and that's a good thing cuz i LOVE watermelon.  I can eat a pretty good sized wedge since it is mostly water anyway.  Also remember you could still be having bouts of head hunger since you "want" to eat.  The fact that nothing sounds good is the tool we have all been given to be successful.  The fact that you have a lot going on probably doesn't help either...it stinks to move.  Keep plugging along, you will find something that works for you.  BTW...if you remember for sure the name of those protein bars i would like to know...all the ones i have found are really heavy and sickening sweet with tons of sugar....i'd like to have something to keep at the office or for on the go.  Thanks!!
