Hey everyone, I'm 19 days post surgery now- What's up with all the belly noise I've heard today?  I've been working on a computer project and sipping on my water all day and so help me, my belly is just moving all around and making all sorts of occasionalflip flops and is so noisy.  It does not hurt at all - I'm just hoping it does not do this in church or somewhere quiet!!!  Is it just me, or is this common?  I feel great- but so help me, ITs' ALIVE!    hahahahhaa

It is normal girl! Get used to it. I dont know if it is maybe too much air sometimes or what, but occassionally it gets really wild sounding. Dont think there is anything wrong...mine does it quite often... Hope you have a great day! I'm having a garage sale today so Im sure I will be beat at the end of it. Had 2 ladies stop yesterday while I was setting it up and they bought about $60 of stuff...lol

GOD is my ROCK!   SUGAR

YES! and that is exactly what it's like too! hahahha

The past two days, I have just slap run till I'm out of energy and dragging.  I went to Wal Mart today and among the things I picked up was some tuna things.  I feel run low, I'll be glad to start the B12 shots, I think I'm needing them.  I'm not a person that gets super tired just by nature unless I've had a really big physical day.  So I'm upping the protein another notch to see if that helps.  I'm doing two shakes a day for 50 mg of protein, and the rest from food.  But I'm going to start on foods like fish and not eating so much soup and the like.  So far nothing I've ate has bothered me at all, so I feel safe progressing on to some flaky meat type things.  Now- I'll miss crackers...ha!  I'd rather have crackers with tuna than bread...  (I know I can't have them - they just 'go-with' tuna in my brain)

Is there anything sweet other than Jello that we can have?  I'm not craving sweets, but would like to know what I could have if I wanted it.  I am just not a pudding person....  I did finally try sugar free pepermint in church Sunday and that stayed down ok.  Are those sugar free hard candies o****asionally?  I know they are quite high in calories and should not be eaten very often.

Better go,

Brenda (I just heard the other Brenda's back surgery went good...that was a relief...back surgery is very serious for sure!)

I have some sugar free jolly ranchers that are pretty good.  I really haven't been craving sweets  because the shakes pretty much do me in on that, but i have thought about experimenting with   Imaking a crustless cheesecake with splenda.  Everything in it is legal except the crust...so just leave it out....I'll let you know how that goes.  I made some tuna and chicken salad when i was in stage 3 and was able to eat it with a couple of whole wheat crackers with no problem.  I was pretty tired too the first month or so.  I was worried that my iron was low so i started taking an extra multi a day (3 total) then of course i got stopped up!!!!  Keep the protein going...your body has been through quite a trauma...glad to hear you are doing well...
