Hey Gang-

Sorry to not be online much these days, I am having problems with one of my puncure sites leaking lymph fluid (chyle) and I know to stay flat of my back so it can seal over and scab over...so I've not been on the computer much.  I just got up to stirr around a tad and decided to check the mail.  I'm not up long enough  to read any postings, but do hope everyone is doing well.  So far everything I've ate has settled well and I've had no pain.  Tomorrow will be 2 weeks post surgery.  I was doing perfect til about 4 days ago and then the site just decided all on it's own that it was not quite sealed yet and would leak- but I've had much experience with this and know what to do.  Margie agreed when I called her - so it's just a 'couch time' type thing...ha!

I feel too lucky, everything I've tried has stayed down great....  I just ate some bean soup, I figure if I can keep that down, I'm going to try a soft cooked egg next- probly tomorrow.

We are going ot my daughters across town for super for Mother's Day...I'll see if her couch lays good...bet it does...they have a massive big screen TV to go with it...ha!

Happy Mothers Day everyone.  If you don't still have a loved one...think of them and feel blessed to have had them in your life....think of the good times.  If you still have that special person in your life, be sure to talk to them today!

Tired of the couch...ready to get moving so I can loose some weight.... oh!  no lasix, the fluid came off in two days and has not returned....yeah!  But, only a  very few pounds weight loss since I've had to hit the couch... Im not even up to my normal activities, but I know it will come when I start moving and shaking again!

Brenda I am glad to see that you are posting some again.  I enjoy hearing from you.  I will pray that your site will heal soon and you can get back to the things you like to do.  Hope you have a grat mothers day and enjoy the cushy couch, I would.  I chase twins 7 years old and I never get the couch.  LOL  nice to hear from you again. hey there you are , was beginning to worry about you. i knew you said that you were having a problem with one of your sites not wanting to heal . Hope that it does that in a short time. I will be praying for you totally ....Have a great Mothers day dinner. what you can eat of it. lol
