Thank You I do have before on there if you go to my profile I have lots of picutes the big bad ones.  Same name been on Mi board most of the time becuz that is where I had surgery.  Decided to search for support group in Mo close and came over to Mo board.    Karen

You have done great!!!! Why did your doctor to the VSG instead of RNY? You said in your profile that you paid cash due to ins. problems, where is your doctor located? and does he charge the same for RNY? My husband needs to have the WLS but his ins. will absolutly not pay. We have talked about borrowing money for him to have it done. Thank you for answering all my questions

Thank you The in Columbia thought Vsg was what I needed and Insureance wouldn't pay at that time they didn't have cash price on vsg there it was going to cost me 27,000 rny.   I went to Dr. Mark Pleatman in   Pontic Mi it cost $11,080.00 and he is a wonderful Doctor it gets right to it I was having surgery within 2 weeks after taking to him on phone.  If you are intersested I can e-mail him and give him your name , number ,or e-mail he will get in touch with you.  I am so glad I went ahead with it. well worth it to get your life back forsure keep in touch and Thanks again  GOD BLESS  Karen
