Margie Called With My Dates ! ! ! YAY ! ! !

Today, I received a call from Margie but I wasnt home and my voice mail doenst get turned on till tomorrow or the next day... so I had to call her back and she had my dates for me... 1. scope July 2nd !!! ( day after my oldest's 14th Bday!) 2. Pre-op August 4th! ! ! 3. Surgery August 18th ! ! ( my biological fathers bday).. Not sure if that is a good thing or not? lol. I am very excited, but wondering why is my pre-op so far out? Usually, they are like 2-3 days ahead of time.... whats up with that???

Really its not that long...but they must be very busy or have some vacations planned for some of tests days maybe...it will be here be4 u know it!!! trust me LOL congratsulations on Aug 18th date

WOW THAT WAS FAST....no Doc. Hornbostel does the pre ops 2 weeks before the surgery . that is when you start your liquid highprotein diet too.  that is just the way he and the hospital do the pre ops .....i guess if they find anything it gives them time for you to have test about it....at least he doesnt have you running all over the place doing this test and that test unless you really need them.   congradulations....August 18th will be here before you know it.  did you get anyone to be your Angel yet???? let us know if you didnt.

Holy smokes, lady!  That was neck breaking fast.  All of that worrying you did was for naught!  My oh my.. how excited are you?!  I'm about to head out the door for my pre-op now.. You'll be in my shoes before you know it!

I am SO happy with the dates!! I am going to have to do an echogram done for my heart ( i think thats what it is called?) I was on phen-phen about 11 years ago. I have faith that it is going to happen and the echo will be just fine. But, still keep me in your prayers please! I am looking forward to seeing u guys back at the support group. Thanks for the great support!

He always does them exactly 2 weeks out....they take your blood and get your weight before you start your slim fast diet....then they re-weigh you when you go for surgery....sort of a check to see if you behaved yourself....congrats....I bet you feel a mountain of relief!!!!!!!!

Hello girl I am so happy for you.  This makes me scared.  I go this weekend to the seminar and am wondering how long it will be before my surgery.  I wanted to have it the end of June.  I wonder if it has anything to do with insurance?  Happy for YA!!!!!! Kerri
