Any Support Groups in Southeast MO

In our area there is only one other than the one that a few of us just started...There is on in Cape and all they support is the RNY. I think it's at SE Hospt.
Brenda, Cindy & I just started the "Bootheel Weight Loss Buddies" support group. We meet in Poplar Bluff each month on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6-8pm. Our meeting is open to anyone interested in weight loss of any kind and anyone that has had any type of weight loss surgery.
I know that would be a few hour drive for you but if it is possible for you to make it you are more than welcome to come join us. It makes a big difference when you can get with others that know where you come from and share and hear.
We finally got one started in this area because there was not one and the one at Cape is for RNY only. Before this we only got to attend one every 3-4 months because we had to go to Springfield or St.louis because that was the closest place to go to one.(Both were 4-5 hr drives)
